| Abstract: | Flue gas expander is the major energy-saving equipment in fluidized catalytic cracking unit (FCCU).Its operation has a direct impact on the energy consumption of the unit.The long-term stable opera- tion of the expander is even more critical for the unit without back-up air blower.The analysis of rotor dynamic balance testing,space between different parts and rotor alignment as well as start-up procedures are analyzed and improvement measures are proposed to enhance the reliability of the flue gas expander. |
