| Abstract: | Background, significance and purpose of establishing environmental standards for electrical and electronicare generalized. Three EU directives on environmental standardization for electrical and electronic equipment andtheir relationships are introduced. Terminology and product lifecycle phases involved in these standards are explained.Then influence of international environmental standardization for electrical and electronic equipment on Chineseenterprises, our solution and standardization strategy are summarized. |
