| 摘 要： | 统一建模语言UML(Unified Modeling Language)是面向对象开发中一种通用的、图形化的模型语言，可用于对软件系统进行描述和构造软件的系统结构．是近代软件工程环境中对象分析和设计的重要工具。文章分析了建模机制及其特点，并运用UML作为OOSE的工具，对图书馆管理信息系统进行面向对象建模，给出了购书管理模块的应用实例。
