Abstract:In this paper,we mainly describe the fabrication of thulium doped SM silica fiber by using solution doping technique,including the control of Tm 3+ dopant comcentration,the drying process and Tm 3+ distribution in the cross section of the fiber core.The optimum design of relevant parameters of the fiber have also been discussed.
