| Abstract: | The heat pipe thermal exchanger is a new highly efficient type of the thermal exchanger. The paper describes the application of this type of installation to the recovery of waste heat from the hot blast stove of blast furnace. It has been shown that it is actually very effective in operation and, hence, it can be recommended to be used extensively in metallurgical industry to improve the heat efficiency of the hot blast stove of blast furnace. |
