The database of the environmental engineering geology of Chongqing urban area is the basic information platform for city construction.Being helpful in reduceing repetitive work,it fully utilizes and exercises unified management over the existing information of the engineering geology and gives decision support on environmental geology.While putting forward the construction target,key technology,major functions and comprehensive application of the database construction of the environmental engineering geology of Chongqing urban areas and briefly introducing the process of the construction,this article aims at sharing the urban engineering geology recourses and upgrades the management of Chongqing engineering geology data.
