| Abstract: | The latest advances of catalytic process of olefins metathesis were reviewed. The preparation of supported tungsten, supported molybdenum, and supported rhenium catalysts by Phillips Petroleum, IFP and Shell Co. were introduced. It was pointed out that we should put emphasis on developing the technology producing propylene and amylene from betene or producing ethylene and hexene from butene in view of the domestic conditions. |
