Tuning Optimization for Second-Order Dynamic Filters for Random Signal Spectral Analysis

Initial formulas are derived for the spectral window of a narrow-band second-order dynamic filter and for the relative dispersion of the estimator for the spectral power density as measured by the correlation filter method, together with the general expression for the optimum tuning law for the filter damping coefficient for linear variation in the central frequency within the analysis band.
