陶艺作品的命名艺术及其不可译性研究

随着改革开放的日益深入和上海世博会的胜利举办,中国与外界陶瓷文化交流活动也变得日益频繁。作为陶瓷专业院校,景德镇陶瓷学院在这种大环境下,在陶瓷交流方面发挥着越来越重要的作用,许多优秀的陶艺作品也逐渐走出国门、面向世界。但是在陶艺作品的翻译方面还存在一些问题,如陶艺作品意境的不可译性等等。为了更好地把作品的意境展示给国际友人,就应该探究如何更好地处理这种不可译性。本文立足不可译性的相关理论,试图探讨陶艺作品相关翻译问题及其解决策略。

On the Naming Art of Works of Ceramic Art and its Untranslatability

With the deepening of the reform and opening-up policy and the big shot of 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the cultural exchange activities of ceramic between China and other countries have become increasingly frequent. As the sole specialized ceramic institution, Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute is playing an increasingly important role in the ceramic exchange. Besides, many well-designed works of ceramic art have presented their charm to the world. However, things are not satisfactory in the translation of ceramic works, and there are still some problems, such as the untranslatability of ceramic works. In order to better display the concepts and beauty of the works to the overseas friends, we should find a better way to handle the untranslatability. Based on the theory of untranslatability, this paper tries to explore the problems related to the translation of ceramic works and provides some suggestive solutions.
