| Abstract: | The researches and achievements conducted by BCIRA, International Nickel Co.,Ltd.(US) and Foundry Research Institute of Achen University of Technology (Germany) in the invention process of the spheroidal graphite cast iron were introduced in details. It was considered that all of them had made different contributions in different aspects and at almost the same time interval to support the development of the SG cast iron and had brought a fine future to this engineering material. |
