全钒液流电池三维模拟

摘    要:通过全钒液流电池三维耦合反应模型的建立,研究了三种不同电池结构设计中电解液流场分布、电压分布、电流分布以及离子浓度分布。结果表明,电解液主管道至电极反应区横向导流槽的设计,有效提高了电池堆中电解液分配的均一性,降低反应浓差极化,提高电池充放电效率。

Abstract:A coupled three dimensional theoretical model of vanadium redox flow battery(VRB) is established to simulate distribution patterns of electrolyte fluid flow, active ions concentration, cell' s woltage and current during charge and discharge processes with three different stack designs. The results showed that the design of transverse flow channel between stack manifold and its reaction zone could improve the uniformity of the electrolyte' s distribution effectively. Meanwhile, the design lowered the reaction concentration polarization and improved battery' s charge and discharge efficiency significantly.
