| Abstract: | The pearls and pearl layers in pearl-shells were studied with transmission electron microscope.The electron diffraction,diffraction contrast and high resolutionelectron microscope were used.The morphology,crystalline size and microstructureof pearls and pearl-shells were investigated.Twins in pearl aragonite were frequen-tly observed.The electron irradiation effect was discussed. |
