Interaction of Complex Objects with Shock Waves

Abstract:Design-theoretical investigation on the dynamic behavior of a full-scale shell with a glass-fiber thin-walled sandwich structure has been carried out. By way of experimental modeling, a specific type of diffraction load is defined and used in further theoretical calculations. Within the framework of the Timoshenko-type shell model, numerical modeling of the dynamic behavior of a shell in the impact of a plane shock wave is performed.
