A Research into the Establishment of Traffic and Geographic Information Bank on Population and Vehicles

As population and vehicles are the main factors in city planning and traffic control, it is necessary to establish a geographic information bank system by means of control of a city's motor vehicles and population data according to different trips, which could provide strategic advice for traffic-control managers in decision-making. This paper makes research into the establishment of population and vehicle distribution information system under the application of data bank combined with geographic information system, and the current information resources.
