| Abstract: | To guarantee the efficiency and safety of the underground tunnel construction, the automatic technique of the shield machine is developed and undergoing extensive research. However, the research is mainly in developed countries while seldom at home. In this paper, the research of automatic direction control of the shield machine was summarized. The necessary of research in this field at home was expounded. |
