Abstract:With the improvement of information facility′s,massive distributed generators(DGs)will connect with the distribution network.A new distribution network protection plan based on the multi-agent technology is proposed in the paper.In the plan,all the relays are designed as the relay agents,which will cooperate each other to locate and isolate the fault.Through sensing electric current′s sudden change at relay,chooses the dual status signal(electric current direction,magnitude and so on)used in the protection plan proposed.Each relay simultaneously utilizes the dual status signal provided by other relays involved in the same zone for detecting a location fault.The PSCAD/EMTDC simulations show that the proposed protection plan can satisfy the massive DGs distribution network′s protection request,and may contribute to a selective and quick disconnection of faulted zone.
