The Image-Meaning Relationship between Tibetan Traditional Architecture and Religious Culture

Tibetan traditional architecture typically represents Tibetan religious culture,also acts as combination of space and culture. Based on demonstration of Tibetan traditional architecture and analysis of Tibetan religion,the work discusses the religious symbolization,as well as the image and meaning of the building and space,fatherly points out the isomorphic relationship between Tibetan traditional architecture and religious culture,and the detailed modes are also discussed. The work explores the religious context of Tibetan traditional architecture to benefit a better understanding and architectural design of Tibetan regionally architecture.
