| Abstract: | This paper presents new method to obtain process characteristic parameters from unit step response of a plant, and on the base of analysing robustness of control systems, provides a simple and practicable method of auto-tuning PID regulator parameters using process characteristic parameters, which overomes the problem of model uncertainty of plant to some extent. Many simulation results show that the method posscasen enough cred-ibility. |
