Quickening the structure adjustment of steel rolling industry facing the challenge of 21century

The many existing problems of steel rolling industry, including plate, pipe, section production, are analyzed. The emergency situation of structure adjustment and market exploitation is pointed out. So, the authors think the structure adjustment first step is optimizing zone structure, then adjusting products structure. Mean while, the steel rolling plants should actively exploit much-needed products used in rail, building, oil, automobile, container and ship making industry, etc.
