Abstract:A new design scheme of the display system of Chinese characters and graphics based on FPGA is put forward,which meets the requirement of real-time display.The feasible of the FAGA design in detail is promoted.The hardware circuit of small amount of data and large amount of data are firstly analyzed and a certain conclusion is drawn by further comparison.Then the analysis diagram of HV coordinate is presented,which implies the realization program of this scheme to use as the controller of small amount of data.Under the hardware platform of Altera Cyclone series FPGA,the language of VHDL is also applied to develop the system.The experiment indicates the feasibility of our design scheme,moreover,it shows that the designed system is efficient and can fully take advantage of the rapidity and parallel data processing,which FPGA features in.Finally,it completes the output work of pixel data when the synchronous signal generates,which contributes to a lower hardware expense and higher processing speed.
