Identification and Distribution Characteristics of Challenging Urban Sites of Shanghai

With the rapid development of urbanization,under the dual pressure of construction land shortage and ecological city construction,the transformation and development of stock land has become an important way of urban ecological construction in Shanghai.As a typical highly urbanized area,Shanghai’s future ecological construction greatly depends on the development and utilization of challenging urban sites.Based on the analysis of challenging urban sites of Shanghai,the results show that:in 2019,the proportion of challenging urban sites in the planned but not built green space within the development boundary(central city area)of Shanghai will reach 76.2%,of which the first,second and third types of challenging urban sites account for 35%,50%and 15%respectively;the proportion of challenging urban sites(reduced land)outside the development boundary is accounted for The proportion of challenging urban sites area of industrial and mining storage land type and rural residential land type is about 3:7,and the proportion and spatial distribution characteristics of challenging urban sites in different districts are also different.Industrial land,commercial land,residential land and other challenging urban sites of space sorting and transformation development is an important way of Shanghai ecological space construction.
