Eddy-Current Test for Sucker Rod and Model DWK Probe Carriage.

After an introduction of the basic principle of the eddy-curent test for sucker rods and a comparison between four kinds of test schemes, the authors expound the requirements for the probe carriage in doing the test. The probe must have such functions as open-and-close, servocontrol, drifting, aperture variation, centering control and be wear resistant. In addition, the authors introduce the coordinate system for the carriage, and describe its working principle and give its perforance parameters.
