Abstract:This Paper introduces the breakdown characteristics ofsphere-sphare gaps and coaxial sphere electrodes in SF6 gas under superposedAC with impulse voltages, and gives their influence factors and test results. Experiments show that the withstand strength with superposed waveform isslightly less than that of impulse voltage.
