| Abstract: | The characteristics and applications of high temperature textiles for protection against heat or insulation are reviewed. High temperature textiles are a synonym for different form of appearance such as. fibers, yarns, ropes, tubes, packing, fabrics/webbings and needle mats. They can be transformed by manufacturing into gloves, aprons and protective apparel, which are of high value for people being confronted with heat. |
