Abstract:The fundamentals and technical features of the partial least squares regression(PLS),i.e.the second generation of multi-variant statistical analysis for complex system,are presented in the article.The reduction degradation index(RDI),one of the limiting factors in sintering process,was analyzed using the PLS application software adapted to Excel,i.e.the PEW(PLS+Excel+Word).It was shown that being simple and effective,the technique threw a light on solving all involved problems associated with the production...
