Apocalypse to Shanghai from the Study on the Mutual Relationship between Urban Transport System and Land Use

The mutual relationship between urban and land use has very important impact on the sustainable development of city. This paper is established in the Urban Economics and tries to sort out the complicated relationship between the transportation and the city in theory, then concludes the successful experiences about how the international cities deal with the mutual relationship between the urban transport system and the land use in practice. On this base the paper reflects the established planning of Shanghai and makes recommendations to the urban space development policy in the future.
