隐喻思维能力和英语语言能力

摘    要:将隐喻看作是人类文明发展所依赖的对相同性和不同性感知的思维的根本。在对隐喻思维进行了第一和第二等级的分类研究基础上,从相同和不同的角度阐述了隐喻思维与英语语言在词缀、近义词、语法和词性几个方面的紧密关系,挖掘出隐喻思维对英语语言发展的决定性作用。分析了完美的英语语言能力的必备条件,得出隐喻思维虽然对于英语语感的培养有巨大的帮助,但对于最重要的英语思维能力并没有帮助的结论。学校应该为学生创造外部的、学生应该为自己创造内部的英语语言环境,以切实提高学生的英语思维和英语语言能力。

Abstract:Regarded metaphor as thinking foundation of the sameness awareness and difference awareness on which human civilization development is based. After the study of classifying metaphor into the first-class and the second class, the close relationship between metaphor thinking and English language in affix, synonym, grammar was expounded from the sameness and difference angles. Also probed into the fact that metaphor thinking has decided functions on English language development, analyzing the necessary conditions of perfect English abilities, and coming to the conclusion that metaphor thinking has great help to the development of English sense but does little help to the English thinking abilities. Hence, colleges should provide outer language environments for students while students should create inner language environments for themselves to improve English learners in English thinking ability and English language ability.
