摘    要:传统的连续调频超声波系统尽管具有平均输出功率高的优点,却需要使用宽带超声波传感器.本文提出了一种连续窄带调频的超声波测距方法.此方法的一个重要特点是,通过窄带调频技术,可用普通的超声波传感器取代宽带超声波传感器应用于传统的连续调频超声波系统中.

Abstract:Despite the advantage of high average power output, a wide bandwidth ultrasonic transducer is needed in the ultrasonic ranging system with traditional continuous wave frequency modulation. But the transducer with wide bandwidth is not commonly available. This paper proposed a new method of distance measurement named the continuous wave narrow bandwidth frequency modulation (CWNBFM) method. An important feature of the ultrasonic ranging system with CWNBFM is that by using narrow bandwidth frequency modulation, a commonly commercial available ultrasonic transducer instead of the wide bandwidth ultrasonic transducer can be used in this system.
