| A New Method for Extracting Spot Target From Ocean and Sky Background |

| Abstract:According to the features of an infrared image against the ocean and sky background, a new target-to-background contrast enhancement method which is robust to noise is designed. Then, on the basis of this method, an adaptive target extraction method based on the normal distribution of the local energy of a target is proposed. The experiment results have shown that this algorithm is accurate and highly practical when it is used to extract the spot targets in a single frame. |
