Abstract:Since "Low-Carbon economy" was proposed firstly by British ,the low-carbon development model, which has the characteristics of “low power consumption, low pollution, low emissions”, has been widely recognized. Low carbon economy is considered to be a new way to achieve sustainable development. In this paper, the content of low-carbon economy is analyzed and the important of the low-carbon economy development on non-ferrous industry is illustrated. Through the analysis of the status of non-ferrous metals industry, some advices are put forward to develop low-carbon economy on non-ferrous metal industry in China.
