The historical origin of the introduction of the differential current voltage conveyor (DCVC) also known as the current differencing buffered amplifier (CDBA) is reviewed. Pathological realizations of the modified differential current conveyor (MDCC) and of the DCVC are given. Generation of alternative equivalent oscillator and filter circuits using voltage followers (VF), current followers (CF), voltage inverters (VI) and current inverters (CI) from known CDBA oscillators and filters is demonstrated by several examples. It is found that there is duplication in some of the recently published circuits and new simplified oscillator and filter circuits are reported.  相似文献

In this paper, a versatile three‐input five‐output universal capacitor‐grounded voltage‐mode filter is proposed. The circuit employs two differential voltage current conveyors as active elements together with two grounded capacitors and four resistors as passive elements. The proposed configuration can be used as either a single‐input five‐output or three‐input two‐output. Unlike the previously reported works, it can simultaneously realize five different generic filtering signals: lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandreject, and allpass. It still maintains the following advantages: (i) the employment of all grounded capacitors, (ii) no need to employ inverting‐type input signals, (iii) no need to impose component choice, (iv) orthogonal control of the resonance angular frequency ωo and the quality factor Q, and (v) low active and passive sensitivity performances.  相似文献

Two novel universal current-mode filters using unity-gain current followers (CFs) and voltage followers (VFs) are presented. The first one, employing three CFs, one VF, two grounded capacitors and two resistors, has two inputs and three outputs. The second one, employing only two CFs, one VF, two grounded capacitors and two resistors, has four inputs and a single output. Both proposed circuits oOEer the following advantageous features: universal current-mode filter realization from the same configuration, no requirements of component matching conditions, employment of two grounded capacitors ideal for integration, employment of two virtually grounded resistors good for voltage control, easy adjustment of ω0/Q and ω0 through separate virtually grounded resistors and low active and passive sensitivity performance.  相似文献

Four alternative families of oscillators are considered in this paper, three of the families employ CCII or ICCII or combination of both and each family has sixteen oscillator circuit members. The fourth family uses unity gain cells and has four circuit members. Two alternative transformation methods are used in this paper for the generation of oscillators. The first one uses the adjoint circuit theorem to obtain a new family of current mode oscillators from a voltage mode oscillator circuit. The second transformation method uses the nodal admittance matrix (NAM) expansion to generate a grounded passive element oscillator family from an oscillator circuit, which employs a virtually grounded resistor. Although this paper has a tutorial nature it includes two new families of oscillators; one of them provides both current and voltage outputs and the other provides voltage outputs and is based on the use of voltage, current followers and inverters. Simulation results are included to support the analysis.  相似文献

In this letter, a realization of current-mode active filter using current followers as active element is described. We show the constructions of second-order lowpass, highpass and bandpass filters. The high-order filters can be realized by a cascade connection of these second filters. As examples, the second-order lowpass and highpass filters are designed for frequency of 5 MHz. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through SPICE simulation.  相似文献

A deconpling control strategy of inverter parallel system is proposed based on the equivalent output impedance of single phase voltage source SPWM (sinusoidal pulse width modulation) inverter. The active power and reactive power are calculated in terms of output voltage and current of the inverter, and sent to the other inverters in the parallel system via controller area network (CAN) bus. By calculating and decoupling the circumfluence of the active power and reactive power, the inverters can share load current via the regulation of the reference-signal phase and amplitude. Experimental results of an 110V/2kVA inverter parallel system show the feasibility of the decoupling control strategy.  相似文献

A current mirror for low voltage analog and mixed mode circuits is proposed. The current mirror has high input and output voltage swing capability and can operate at ±1.0 V supply. P-Spice simulations confirm the input current range of 1 A to 500 A with 2.5 GHz bandwidth for the proposed current mirror. Adaptive biasing increases the input voltage swing capability and decreases the undesired offset current. Resistive and capacitive compensation are used to increase its bandwidth.  相似文献

本文基于传统的无互线逆变器并联下垂法,提出一种用于提高逆变器均流性能的控制方法。同时本文考虑了连线阻抗和逆变器输出阻抗,分析了逆变器并联系统的有功环流和无功环流,本文提出的控制方法可以减小下垂法的频率和幅值的波动幅度,增加系统输出的稳定性,并提高系统的动态和静态环流抑制能力。仿真和实验结果均验证了该方案的良好性能。  相似文献

研究了开关电容DC-DC变换器输出电压与电容的关系,分析了变换器输出电压波纹产生的原因.针对变换器中大电容难集成的问题,提出了一种基于跨导放大器和第二代电流传输器的有源电容倍增器的新型拓扑结构.该电路只用较少的元件就可以实现开关电容变换器中的浮地和接地电容.以二阶开关电容DC-DC变换器为例,用PSPICE软件分别对采用了有源电容倍增器的新型结构和传统结构进行了仿真.结果显示,基于有源电容倍增器的开关电容变换器仅用100pF电容就等效了200nF电容的输出性能,而且具有更低的输出电压波纹.  相似文献

This paper presents a dominant harmonic active filter (DHAF) scheme using small-rated square-wave inverters for supply line harmonic current reduction for high-power nonlinear loads in the range of 10 MW and above to meet IEEE 519 harmonic standard. The active filter inverters are connected in series with the fifth and seventh L-C tuned filters, respectively. A synchronous reference frame-based controller which achieves harmonic isolation for the dominant fifth and seventh harmonic load currents in the presence of supply voltage harmonic distortion is presented. Impact of mistuned passive filters on the operation and rating of the square-wave active filter inverters is examined. Simulation results validate the proposed harmonic isolation controller under mistuned fifth and seventh L-C tuned filter conditions and supply voltage harmonic distortion. The proposed scheme is general and applicable for high-power 6- or 12-pulse rectifier loads. The use of small-rated square-wave inverters (approximately 2% of load kilovoltampere rating) increases the cost effectiveness of the DHAF system for high-power applications  相似文献

A novel passive lossless turn-on snubber with a soft-clamped turn-off snubber circuit for voltage source inverters is proposed. The energy trapped in the snubber is recovered into the DC supply and load without any active devices, associated control circuitry, or resistors. The overshoot voltage on the switches is clamped, and the peak switch current is low, making this snubber suitable for use in high-power insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) inverters  相似文献

Four new voltage-mode universal biquadratic filters each with one input terminal and five output terminals are presented. Each of the first two proposed circuits uses four plus-type second-generation current conveyors, two grounded capacitors and five resistors. The third proposed circuit employs two plus-type second-generation current conveyors, one differential voltage current conveyor, two grounded capacitors and five resistors. The fourth proposed circuit employs two multi-output second-generation current conveyors, two grounded capacitors and five resistors. Each of the proposed circuits can realize all the standard filter functions; highpass, bandpass, lowpass, notch and allpass, simultaneously, without changing the passive elements. The proposed circuits enjoy the features of orthogonal controllable of resonance angular frequencies and quality factors, using only grounded capacitors as well as low active and passive sensitivities. Jiun-Wei Horng was born in Tainan, Taiwan, Republic of China, in 1971. He received the B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University, Chung-Li, in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree from National Taiwan University, Taipei, in 1997. From 1997 to 1999, he served as a Second-Lieutenant in China Army Force. From 1999 to 2000, he joined CHROMA ATE INC. where he worked in the area of video pattern generator technologies. From 2000 to 2005, he joined the Department of Electronic Engineering, Chung Yuan Christian University, Chung-Li, Taiwan as an Assistant Professor. Since 2005, he is an Associate Professor. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of Circuits and Systems, Analog and Digital Electronics, Active Filter Design and Current-Mode Signal Processing. Chun-Li Hou was born in Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China, in 1951. He received the B.S. degree, M.S. degree, and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, in 1974, 1976, and 1991, respectively. From 1977 to 1979, he taught as a lecture in Tamkang College. From 1981 to 1991, he taught as a lecture in the department of Electronic Engineering, Chung-Yuan Christian University, Chung, Taiwan. From 1992 until now, he taught there as an Associate Professor. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of Current-Mode Analog Circuit Analysis and Design, Active Network Synthesis Circuit theory and Applications. Chun-Ming Chang obtained his bachelor and master degrees, both in the field of electrical engineering, from National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, R.O. China, and his Ph.D. degree in the field of electronics and computer science from the University of Southampton, U.K. He had been an associate professor in Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan from 1985 to 1991, and has been a full professor in the same University since 1991. His research interest is divided by two relative fields, network synthesis before 1991 and analog circuit design after 1991. He had been a chairman of the electrical engineering department in Chung Yuan Christian University from 1995 to 1999. Recently, he was recommended for inclusion in The Contemporary Who's Who of Professionals 2004 Edition, and nominated by the Governing Board of Editors of the American Biographical Institute for the prestigious title MAN OF THE YEAR-2005, and became an Advisor of the ABI's distinguished RESEARCH BOARD OF ADVISORS due to the invention of Analytical Synthesis Method and OTA-Only-Without-C Circuits in the field of analog circuit design. Wen-Yaw Chung was born in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan, R.O.C., 1957. He received the B.S.E.E. and M.S. degrees from Chung Yuan Christian University, Chung Li, Taiwan, in 1979 and 1981 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University, USA, in 1989. Subsequently, he joined the Advanced Microelectronics Division, Institute for Technology Development in Mississippi, where he was involved in the design of a bipolar optical data receiver. In 1990 he worked as a design manager for the Communication Product Division, United Microelectronics Corporation, Hsin-Chu, where he was involved in the design of analog CMOS data communication integrated circuits. Since 1991 he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Chung Yuan Christian University. His research interests include mixed-signal VLSI design, biomedical IC applications, sensor and actuator interfacing for deep submicron VLSI electronics.  相似文献

Two current‐mode and/or voltage‐mode quadrature oscillator circuits each using one fully‐differential second‐generation current conveyor (FDCCII), two grounded capacitors, and two (or three) grounded resistors are presented. In the proposed circuits, the current‐mode quadrature signals have the advantage of high‐output impedance. The oscillation conditions and oscillation frequencies are orthogonally (or independently) controllable. The current‐mode and voltage‐mode quadrature signals can be simultaneously obtained from the second proposed circuit. The use of only grounded capacitors and resistors makes the proposed circuits ideal for integrated circuit implementation. Simulation results are also included.  相似文献

This paper introduces a new generation method of the grounded capacitor Wien oscillator circuits using current conveyors (CCII) or inverting current conveyors (ICCII) or combination of both of them. The nodal admittance matrix (NAM) of the single Op Amp Wien oscillator is taken as the starting point in the new approach of systematic synthesis of equivalent oscillators. The synthesis procedure is based on the generalized systematic synthesis framework using NAM expansion. The resulting derived 32 oscillators include many novel oscillators, using current conveyors or inverting current conveyors or both. Comparison between the generated oscillators based on the effect of parasitic elements on the oscillator performance is discussed.  相似文献

Actively simulated grounded inductors have been used in several applications ranging from filter to oscillator design as well as cancellation of parasitic inductances. In this paper, new grounded inductance simulators employing only one voltage differencing current conveyor (VDCC) and two passive components are proposed. Two new topologies for realizing positive and negative lossless inductances and four different topologies for realizing lossy inductances are proposed. The aim of this paper is to present new inductance simulators using the minimum number of active and passive components. The proposed inductance simulators can be tuned electronically by changing the biasing current of the VDCC. Moreover, the circuits do not require any conditions of component matching. Finally, using one of the proposed inductance simulators a third-order high-pass filter is constructed. The performance of the proposed filter is verified and simulated by using SPICE.  相似文献
