为了在不降低频带利用率和功率利用率的情况下以设备的复杂化来换取编码增益,提出了一种将编码和调制方式结合在一起的比特交织编码调制(Bit Interleaved Coded Modulation,BICM)技术。该技术针对网格编码调制(TrellisCoded Modulation,TCM)灵活性差和衰落信道中性能差的缺点,在理想交织时将编码器和调制器分离设计,具有高度的灵活性,并可以得到近似网格编码调制的性能,并且对衰落信道具有很好的鲁棒性。介绍了比特交织编码调制的构成模式、关键技术,包括信道编码、比特交织和调制,给出了BCIM理论分析,并对不同的交织深度、交织方法和高阶调制等进行了性能仿真分析。仿真结果表明比特交织编码调制可以取得良好的误码率性能。  相似文献

网格空时码是在时延分集的基础上与TCM编码结合而成的,是一种改进的传输分集方式,适用于多种无线信道环境。在无线通信中为了有效抑制噪音积累,选用QPSK调制,因为QPSK调制比QAM更适合噪音环境,QPSK调制具有理想的误差保护。网格空时码在QPSK调制传输系统中具有更好的纠错能力,具有低误码率与误帧率的优良性能。  相似文献

本文提出了一种通过调整非编码信息量,并与信号映射相结合来改变编码、调制模式的自适应Turbo TCM编码调制方案,称之为基于非编码信息匹配的自适应Turbo TCM编码调制方案.由于将Turbo码和TCM编码调制技术相结合得到的Turbo TCM编码调制方案的带宽效率高,所以,在慢时变无线衰落信道中,自适应Turbo TCM编码调制的平均频谱效率也将很高.给出了该方案的工作原理、设计方法,并通过蒙特卡洛(Monte Carlo)仿真研究了该方案的性能.与现有编码调制方案相比,该方案具有频谱效率高、易于设计和实现的优点.  相似文献

TCM是一种将差错控制编码与调制有机结合的编码调制技术,在保持信息传输速率不变的前提下增加信号数量,以增加信号的冗余度来进行抗干扰编码,使系统的频带利用率和功率资源同时得到有效利用。先对TCM编码调制技术和直接序列扩频系统进行了研究,然后给出了一种基于TCM-8PSK的直扩系统的仿真模型,并分析了其在不同干扰信道下的性能。  相似文献

网格编码调制(TCM)与脉冲幅度调制(PPM)相结合的T-PPM编码具备了双方在纠错能力和发射功率效率方面的优点,在空间光通信中有广阔的应用前景。而传统的T-PPM编码调制技术在映射方面存在缺陷,制约了系统的可靠性。为改善大气湍流光通信系统的误码性能,提出一种适用于单载波弱湍流空间光信道的改进型T-PPM技术。这种方法采用格雷映射取代传统TCM中的"子集划分"映射,降低接收时的误判可能性。仿真结果表明,格雷码映射能显著改善误码性能;在误码率为10-3处,格雷码映射相比子集映射提高了约0.2 dB增益,有效改善系统的差错性能;在1 ps和2 ps展宽量条件下误码率(BER)分别减少至传统方案的约1/2和4/5,从而验证了格雷码映射的优越性。  相似文献

π/4-QPSK调制技术是新一代集群通信系统的关键技术,由于用户和无线业务的不断增加,无线电频率资源越来紧缺,该技术可以极大地提高频率利用率,在同样的带宽下可以满足更多的频率需求,并且误码率更低,通信质量更好。通过分析π/4-QPSK调制技术的原理,从理论上提出该技术的具体实现方法,并使用该方法对QPSK和π/4-QPSK两种调制技术的频谱特性和误码率特性进行了计算分析和仿真分析,得出了在通过带限或非线性信道时,π/4-QPSK的信号频谱特性和误码率特性都优于QPSK信号。  相似文献

Trellis coded modulation is widely used for digital transmission over fading channels. Classical diversity techniques are also frequently employed to combat fading. In this paper two different strategies for equal gain combining are compared, One scheme is based on an interleaved code combining technique. The alternative scheme is based on averaged diversity combining. The well known transfer function bounding technique for trellis codes is used to obtain: expressions for the bit error rate performance of the two trellis coded diversity receivers over a slowly fading Rayleigh channel. The analysis of interleaved code combining is a straightforward modification of the analysis for multiple trellis coded modulation. The analysis of averaged diversity combining is accommodated through a more involved, novel modification of the branch labeling of the error state diagram. The analytic techniques presented in this paper are supported by simulation results using a TCM scheme based on QPSK modulation and a rate-l/2 linear convolution code  相似文献

为了研究信道编码技术对无线光通信副载波系统差错性能的影响,基于无线光通信链路噪声特性,建立了大气信道等效数学模型。采用低密度奇偶校验(LDPC)码作为信道编码方式引入无线光通信,在不同光强闪烁指数下对基于副载波相移键控调制无线光通信系统进行了差错性能仿真,比较分析了LDPC编码前后副载波调制系统的误比特率,并对二相相移键控及四相相移键控两种系统进行了对比。结果表明,副载波二相相移键控调制系统的差错性能优于四相相移键控系统,同时LDPC码在弱湍流信道具有优越的纠错能力,可以获得比未编码系统较高的编码增益,在无线光通信领域具有一定的应用价值。  相似文献

Unitary space-time modulation (USTM) is well-tailored for noncoherent space-time modulation. Trellis coded USTM (TC-USTM) can obtain significant coding gains over uncoded USTM for the noncoherent block fading channel. Conventional TC-USTM schemes expand the signal set of uncoded USTM by a factor of two. In this letter, we propose a new TC-USTM scheme in which the size of USTM set is not limited to be just double for uncoded USTM. However, in TC-USTM schemes, because signals of the same trellis branch are transmitted over the same fading coefficients, one trellis branch can only obtain one temporal diversity. In this letter, we also propose a new trellis coded noncoherent space-time modulation scheme by interleaving space-time signals. The proposed scheme can enlarge temporal diversity at the price of increased complexity and delay. Simulation results demonstrate the excellent error performances of codes found by computer searches for both schemes.  相似文献

This paper proposes a time divisionmultiple access/time division duplex (TDMA/TDD)-basedadaptive modulation system (AMS) with aconvolutionally coded Type-II Hybrid automatic repeatrequest (ARQ) protocol to achieve high throughput datatransmission in wireless communication systems. First,this paper discusses the cause of throughputlimitation of the conventional fixed-rate quaternaryphase shift keying (QPSK) with ARQ protocol andsuggests that the effective means to improvethroughput performance are the reduction ofre-transmission probability under bad channelcondition and the increase of transmission bit rate perTDMA/TDD slot under good channel condition. Based onthese strategies, this paper discusses an AMS with aconvolutionally coded type-II hybrid ARQ protocol(type-II hybrid ARQ/AMS) and evaluates itsperformance by computer simulation. The resultsconfirm that the proposed type-II hybrid ARQ/AMS candrastically improve throughput performances comparedto the conventional fixed-rate QPSK with selectiverepeat ARQ protocol (SR-ARQ/QPSK) or a simplecombination of SR-ARQ and AMS (SR-ARQ/AMS) under anychannel conditions, especially under severe channelconditions.  相似文献

提出了一种非限幅四相相移键控(QPSK)类正弦调制技术,并将其运用到大气激光通信系统中。介绍了大气激光通信信道模型,给出了非限幅QPSK类正弦调制的大气激光通信系统模型。在此基础上,对采用非限幅QPSK类正弦调制和采用直流偏置副载波强度调制的大气激光通信系统在无湍流和弱湍流信道下的功率利用率、误码率、中断概率和信道容量进行了分析和比较。结果表明,非限幅QPSK类正弦调制具有更好的抗噪声性能、更高的功率利用率、较低的中断概率及较高的信道容量,提高了大气激光通信系统的性能,可满足大气激光通信系统的需要。  相似文献

为了克服光在弱湍流大气条件传输时,光强闪烁造成的突发错误,在已知信道衰落信息(CSI)和未知信道衰落信息(NCSI)条件下,研究了基于低密度奇偶校验(LDPC)码和二进制脉冲位置调制(BPPM)的无线光通信系统性能,论述了BPPM光通信信道对称性的特点,并与基于LDPC码和OOK调制的光通信系统性能进行了比较。结果表明,在NCSI和CSI情况下,基于LDPC码和BPPM的光通信系统相对于基于LDPC码和OOK调制的系统均有更优异的差错性能;在NCSI情况下,基于LDPC码和BPPM的光通信系统的性能相对于CSI情况下的系统性能损失并不大;且采用LDPC码BPPM相对于LDPC码OOK调制的光通信系统,随着湍流强度的增大系统性能损失较小。因此,基于LDPC码和BP-PM的光通信系统在不需要信道衰落信息估计的情况下,能获得较大的编码增益,便于工程实现,在无线光通信中将有一定的应用前景。  相似文献

This paper presents the application of a turbo coding technique combined with a bandwidth efficient method known as trellis‐coded modulation. A transformation applied to the incoming I‐channel and Q‐channel symbols allows the use of an off‐the‐shelf binary/quadrature phase shift keying (B/QPSK) turbo decoder without any modifications. A conventional turbo decoder then operates on transformed symbols to estimate the coded bits. The uncoded bits are decoded based on the estimated coded bits and locations of the received symbols.  相似文献

Trellis decoding of linear block codes in a Rayleigh fading channel is discussed. Two methods for calculating metric values for each bit in a received block are considered: the values are calculated from the received signal envelope sample and from the demodulator output. Bit error rate (BER) performances of hard decision and trellis decoding are compared using Hamming (7, 4) and Golay (24, 12) codes in computer simulations and laboratory experiments. A simplified trellis decoding algorithm, in which the hard decision output of a bit with an envelope sample greater than the threshold value is accepted as correct, is presented. Laboratory experimental results for trellis decoding in combination with Gaussian minimum-shift-keying (GMSK) modulation and frequency detection are shown. The effect of n-bit A/D-conversion in signal envelope sampling is investigated experimentally. The results show that the trellis decoding algorithm improves BER performance  相似文献
