A wideband printed slot antenna fed by a radial stub operating over the mobile communication bands PCN (1.716-1.880 GHz) and UMTS (1.9-2.0 GHz and 2.1-2.2 GHz) is presented. The impedance bandwidth of the antenna achieved for a VSMR⩽2 is 34% and the radiation patterns remain stable over the entire frequency band of operation (1.7-2.4 GHz) with cross-polarisation levels of less than -20 dB. In the proposed work, Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) cavity-backed circularly polarized slot antenna for wideband operation is proposed. A square-ring-slot is etched on the top of the SIW cavity, used for radiation To generate the circularly polarized (CP) wave, the slot is placed slightly offset from the centroid of the cavity. By finely optimizing the antenna dimensions, it exhibits a wide axial-ratio (AR) bandwidth of 789 MHz (7.1%) ranging from 10.64 to 11.45 GHz. Moreover, the radiating slot is excited by an SIW based feed by an inductive window, which lead to a wide impedance matching over 1.74 GHz ranging from 9.92 to 11.67 GHz. Due to the SIW cavity-backing structure, the antenna offers unidirectional radiation patterns while maintaining a low-profile and planar compatibility. To validate the proposed design, the antenna is fabricated and experimentally tested in terms of reflection coefficients, AR, gain, and radiation patterns. The simulated and measured results reveal good mutual agreement. Moreover, the proposed antenna is very useful for wideband applications operating in X-band (8–12 GHz)  相似文献

A compact planar antenna operating at a frequency range of 3–16 GHz is presented for wideband applications. The antenna is composed of a square patch fed by a microstrip line and a partial ground plane with a rectangular slot. The proposed antenna is very easy to be integrated with microwave circuitry for low manufacturing cost. The flat antenna has a compact structure and the total size is 29 mm × 22 mm. The result shows that the measured impedance bandwidth (VSWR≤ 2) of the proposed antenna is 3.2–15.44 GHz, with a notch from 4.7 to 5.8 GHz. The effects of the structure parameters on impedance bandwidth are also investigated. Details of the proposed compact planar antenna design are presented and discussed.  相似文献

A new design for a coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed slot antenna is presented. The impedance matching and the radiation characteristics of this structure were studied using the method of moment technique. This antenna has an impedance bandwidth (for a VSWR<2) of 49% and a radiation bandwidth of 42% about its 4.8 GHz centre frequency, compared to the 12-20% impedance bandwidth of the standard CPW fed slot antenna. The cross-polarisation in both the principle planes is at least 20 dB below co-polarisation across the entire bandwidth. Simulated and measured results of the antenna are presented. This paper proposes a new wideband W-band substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavity-backed slot (CBS) antenna. The SIW cavity suppresses the backward radiation and ensures this antenna have a very low profile (only about 4% of the operating wavelength). Several techniques, such as slot resonator with semicircular end, quarter-wavelength microstrip resonator, are introduced to improve impedance matching. The studied results demonstrate that this antenna has wide operating bandwidth in 54.3–67 GHz (about 20.9% of the fractional bandwidth), unidirectional radiation pattern and good linear polarization characteristic. These properties are very suitable for RF front-end system-on-package (SoP) design in millimeter wave wireless communication systems.  相似文献

W波段(75~110 GHz)的电磁波大气吸收率低、波长短、可用频带宽,在雷达、通信等领域应用广泛.文章设计了一种W波段基片集成波导(substrate integrated waveguide,SIW)背腔缝隙天线,-10 dB的阻抗带宽达到28.6%(78.93~105.24 GHz),覆盖了W波段75%的频带范围.天线采用双层基片结构.上层为SIW谐振腔及四条辐射缝隙构成的谐振辐射单元,谐振腔内同时存在TM130与TM310混合模、TM320模以及TM330模三种高次模,和辐射缝隙一起形成多谐特性,实现带宽拓展;底层为通过耦合缝隙馈电的集成波导,易于扩展成平面网络,构建高增益背腔缝隙天线阵列.该天线频带宽、交叉极化低、剖面低、易于与平面微波电路集成、加工成本低,具有良好的应用前景.  相似文献

Printed Wide-Slot Antenna for Wideband Applications   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The design and analysis of a novel printed wide-slot antenna, fed by a microstrip line, for wideband communication systems is presented. Detailed simulation and experimental investigations are conducted to understand its behavior and optimize for broadband operation. The designed antenna has a wide operating bandwidth of over 120% (2.8-11.4 GHz) for S11 <-10 dB. In addition to being small in size, the antenna exhibits stable far-field radiation characteristics in the entire operating bandwidth, relatively high gain, and low cross polarization. By properly choosing the suitable slot shape, selecting similar feed shape and tuning their dimensions, the design with very wide operating bandwidth, relatively small size and improved radiation pattern is obtained. A comprehensive parametric study has been carried out to understand the effects of various dimensional parameters and to optimize the performance of the designed antenna. Results show that the impedance matching of this kind of antenna is greatly affected by the feed-slot combination and feed gap width, with the slot shape being a main contributor of the radiation characteristics. The simulated and measured Results for return loss, far-field E and H-plane radiation patterns, and gain of designed antenna are presented and discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new coplanar waveguide-fed tapered ring slot antenna for ultrawideband (UWB) applications. This antenna consists of a 50 /spl Omega/ coplanar waveguide feeding line, wideband coplanar waveguide-to-slotline transition, and a pair of curved radiating slots. The impedance bandwidth with VSWR<2 is from 3.1 GHz to more than 12 GHz. The actual operating bandwidth is, however, limited by the distortion of radiation patterns. Such pattern distortion can be attributed to the antenna mode transition and is investigated in this paper with the help of the radiation patterns in the traditional sense as well as a dimensionless normalized antenna transfer function. By suitably allocating such mode-transition phenomenon to the notched band in a UWB radio, we demonstrate that antennas with desirable radiation characteristics in both UWB low and high bands can be readily achieved. The system responses of a transceiving antenna system in free space are addressed as well.  相似文献

设计了一种适用于雷达、通信等领域的宽带双极化波导阵列天线。天线的垂直极化信号通过波导阻抗变换直接馈电实现,水平极化信号通过由垂直极化信号馈电、缝隙耦合的方式实现。设计的阵列天线在12 GHz~15 GHz的频带内驻波比小于2,交叉极化低于25 dB,单元增益在带内大于8 dB,波束宽度大于60°。加工天线后实测结果与仿真结果吻合,该种阵列天线既适合固定波束阵列天线,又适合具有相扫功能的阵列天线。  相似文献

为了更好地实现移动终端天线小型化,提出了一种具有较高单元间隔离度的紧凑型超宽带(multiple input multiple output,MIMO)天线。该天线无需任何解耦网络,通过阶梯形缝隙结构来实现各个天线单元。采用的阶梯形缝隙天线不仅减少了天线的尺寸,而且具有定向辐射行为,从而形成较高的高隔离度。提出的天线尺寸为23×23mm3。测量结果表明,提出的超宽带MIMO天线在3 GHz-10.9 GHz频谱中能够产生较好的多向辐射特性(S11≤-10dB),阻抗隔离大于20dB,包络相关系数和信道容量损耗的容许界限保证了良好的MIMO性能。  相似文献

针对微波无线输能系统中接收天线质量轻、体积小、剖面低、易与微波电路集成的特点,设计了一款新型的具有谐波抑制功能的宽带圆极化宽缝接收天线。通过在长方形缝隙中添加末端具有圆形贴片的交叉结构实现圆极化性能,添加切角结构展宽圆极化带宽。在馈线上添加具有一定长度的开路支节,配合使用缺陷地结构共同实现谐波抑制功能。研究并测试了天线的反射系数、轴比、增益以及远场辐射方向图,仿真与实测基本吻合。仿真结果显示,该天线很好地抑制了基频5.8 GHz的二次谐波和三次谐波,在4.5~6.2 GHz的范围内S11<-10 dB,相对阻抗带宽31.8%;基频5.8 GHz处的轴比AR=1.3 dB,在频率范围4.2~6.15 GHz内轴比AR<3 dB,相对轴比带宽37.7%;基频5.8 GHz仿真增益6.7 dB。  相似文献

该文介绍了一种性能优良的四元U型缝贴片天线阵。该阵面由一新型的宽带匹配网络馈电,能量通过地板上的馈电缝耦合到上面的U型缝贴片上。这种类型的天线阵可以在10.4-16.7GHz的频率内工作,阻抗带宽达46.5%,最大增益为15dBi,增益在13dBi以上的频率范围达30%,交叉极化电平在整个频带内均小于-18dB。  相似文献

A planar folded dipole antenna that exhibits wideband characteristics is proposed. The antenna has simple planar construction without a ground plane and is easy to be assembled. Parameter values are adjusted in order to obtain wideband properties and compactness by using an electromagnetic simulator based on the method of moments. An experimental result centered at 1.7 GHz for 50 impedance matching shows that the antenna has bandwidth over 55% . The gains of the antenna are almost constant (2 dBi) in this frequency band and the radiation patterns are very similar to those of a normal dipole antenna. It is also shown that the antenna has a self-balanced impedance property in this frequency band.  相似文献

A dual symmetrical coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed small size wideband printed square slot antenna (SSA) with dual linearly and circularly polarized radiation capability is presented. The antenna is composed using a square slot, two symmetrical orthogonal CPW feed lines connected to horizontal and vertical arm of L-shaped radiator, an embedded parasitic inverted-L strip at the lower left corner of the square ground slot and engraving slots in the ground plane. Circular polarization (CP) is achieved due to two orthogonal CPW feed lines and a common L-shaped radiator. Isolation between ports is improved by engraving slots at the lower left corner of ground plane and embedded parasitic inverted-L strip. The sense of dual-polarization can be changed in pass-band by changing the port excitation. Measured antenna reveals that an 84.4% (4.6 GHz, 3.15–7.75 GHz) −10 dB impedance bandwidth (IBW) and about 33% (2.03 GHz, 5.12–7.15 GHz) 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth (ARBW). Isolation between ports <−16 dB is achieved over usable CP band.  相似文献

This paper proposes an antenna design concept to achieve a multi-reconfigurable band-notch antenna by using a set of microswitches. The proposed idea was proved by the design of the coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed slot antenna. The sample design gives a wideband antenna the impedance bandwidth of which covers the frequency ranged from 1.9 GHz to 6.55 GHz. A novel compact and wideband coplanar waveguide(CPW)-fed monopole antenna is proposed. To increase the impedance bandwidth, two parasitic elements and three slots are added, which structures are optimised by a parametric analysis. The antenna operates over 3.1 to 11 GHz for the return loss of less than -10 dB. Radiation patterns also show very well omnidirectional performance of the proposed antenna.  相似文献

A compact and simple design of a CPW-fed planar antenna for ultra- wideband application with dual band-notch characteristics is presented. The proposed antenna yields an impedance bandwidth of 3.1- 10.6 GHz with VSWR < 2, except the bandwidths of 3.3-3.9 GHz for WiMAX and 5-6 GHz for WLAN. 针对现代通信系统终端小型化、宽频带的要求,本文提出了一种新型小型化宽频带平面倒F 天线。该天线由 金属地板、辐射贴片、短路贴片和馈电系统四部分组成。其中对地板进行十字缝隙开槽,短路贴片采用短路墙,馈电 系统采用二等分威尔金森功分器。采用HFSS13.0 软件对天线进行仿真,仿真结果表明,该天线在2.01~2.61GHz 频带 范围内驻波比小于2, 阻抗带宽达到26.3%;1.66~2.75GHz 频带范围内增益大于3dBi,增益带宽达到47.4%。同时,天 线的自由空间辐射方向图也满足无线通信终端要求。  相似文献
