An integrated construction planning system using object-oriented product and process modelling

An interactive planning system approach poses challenges to the efficient integration of the design and construction planning process. Current research is focused on organizational knowledge processing in building design and construction, such as the representation of object-oriented planning models and constraint management incorporating design, engineering and construction planning through several planning stages. Since building construction involves cooperation among designers, engineers and project managers, comprehensive organizational planning and management tools are relevant. The integrated construction planning system (ICPS) aims to cover a wide range of knowledge processing based on formalization and representation of building and construction systems. To realize the integrated construction planning system, appropriate modelling techniques need to be introduced. This paper presents the results of research on several issues such as formalization and representation of interactive design and construction planning processes, methods for incorporating project information, knowledge and constraints and the concept of applying an object-oriented paradigm to interactive building and construction system planning. A prototype system is also presented which integrates building space planning, building system planning, construction system planning, construction activity planning and construction site layout planning.

An integrated construction project cost information system using MS Access™ and MS Project™

The integration of time and cost management of construction projects has been recognized as the most effective way for close management. However, it has not been effectively used due to the presence of a large quantity of data with many complex interrelationships. Advanced software using current state‐of‐the‐art could be developed to solve this problem. Nevertheless, construction organizations, especially those of small to medium size, cannot afford to procure such software due to the high cost involved in development and training. Probably, the maximum capability of small to medium size contractors is to purchase general applications – spreadsheet, database, etc. – and general time planning software. Thus, a computer solution for an existing problem using general software will have a higher potential for application. In this context, research was undertaken to establish the feasibility of the use of MS Access? and MS Project? to provide an integrated time and cost management information system encompassing estimating, scheduling, cost control, resource monitoring and costing, and financial control. First, through a literature review, documentary search in contractor organizations and interviews of professionals, the requirements of such a system were identified. Second, detail procedures were established by use of standard system design procedures. Third, a data modelling was developed and a relational database was established with data transfer mechanism between database and time planning software. The research proved that an effective integrated project cost management system could be developed using MS Project? and MS Access? as an economical solution for small to medium construction organizations.     

基于BIM 的建设项目文档管理系统设计

建筑信息模型（BIM）在建设工程领域的作用愈来愈凸显,基于BIM 的信息集成管理将极大提高项目管理的效率。充分分析了传统建设项目文档管理系统在信息检索、知识重用方面的不足,同时对BIM 以及IFC 标准进行了详尽的阐述。在此基础上提出在BIM 环境下集成建设项目文档管理系统,并分别分析了系统的实施必要性及技术可行性,提出了系统框架。最后对文本信息集成方法进行了改进,提出适用于中文文本的BIM 环境下建设项目文档管理的实现框架及其支撑技术。研究为可以基于BIM 的建设项目文档管理提供参考。     

面向规划业务应用的数据资源空间化管理

本文结合当前规划业务管理需要,介绍了从地理空间角度出发整合多种类型数据资料,集成CAD图形环境和数据库技术,探索建立以地理坐标索引为主、时间序列为辅,结合地理定位电子地图可视化的规划资料管理信息系统新途径,开拓快速的资料共享渠道。     

基于web的施工总承包企业材料设备管理系统研究

基于web技术,设计了一个施工总承包企业的材料设备的管理信息系统。该系统通过用户的权限分为两个层面,即企业级与项目级,这样既利于项目运作效率的提高,又利于总承包企业对各个项目的材料设备进行集成化的管理。     

城市轨道交通与快速公交一体化规研究——以广州萝岗区为例

目前,我国许多大城市在进行城市轨道交通规划和建设的同时,也在进行BRT的规划建设,对两者进行整合,避免重复投资,具有重要的现实意义。广州萝岗区轨道交通与BRT一体化规划通过分析土地利用形态确定不同交通需求强度的客运走廊,以换乘枢纽为中心;以公交管理体制一体化为前提,从调度、票价、信息等方面探讨运营一体化的方法。     

临床生物样本库信息系统建设与发展

随着转化医学的快速发展,临床生物样本库的作用日益凸显,其建设和应用日益受到关注和重视。信息管理系统是样本库的核心部分,其建设应立足于支撑样本库的运营、管理和服务全过程,通过建立样本信息数据采集流程、数据集成与交换系统及安全系统,形成一体化整合数据库和公共门户网站,实现生物样本、临床资料和分子数据等各种资源的高效管理和全面共享。     

An Open Architecture for Environmental Decision Support

Abstract: A class of environmental information systems, called environmental decision support systems, is defined. The requirements for such systems are elaborated, and a software architecture that supports these requirements is developed. This architecture is then illustrated through the example of the Sandia Environmental Decision Support System (SEDSS). The SEDSS is a family of workstation applications based on the architecture developed by AT&T Bell Laboratories and prototyped in collaboration with the Environmental Restoration Organization of Sandia National Laboratories. Sharing a common user interface philosophy and software architecture, the members of the SEDSS family are designed to facilitate human decision making with respect to the hydrologic aspects of hazardous waste management. In order to achieve these objectives, the SEDSS family integrates geographic information systems, hydrologic models, Monte Carlo simulation, and a highly interactive graphical user interface, into a coherent software system based on the X Window System.
This architecture is currently being applied to such similar environmental management problems as well-head protection area analysis, in addition to nongroundwater problems such as coastal fisheries management. Applied research in environmental decision support systems continues in the areas of uncertainty management, treatment of qualitative parameters, and the human factors of environmental decision making.     

建筑施工4D++模型与4D项目管理系统的研究

本研究将4D模型理论和相应的CAD技术应用于建筑施工管理领域,研究新的4D++施工整体模型(4DSMM++)及其相应的数据管理机制。通过建筑物以及施工场地的3D整体模型与施工进度计划相链接,及其相关资源的信息集成,实现施工进度、人力、材料、设备、成本和场地布置的动态管理和优化控制,以及整个施工过程的可视化模拟,为建筑施工领域探索新的管理模式和方法,提供一个新的信息管理系统。     

建立信息化测绘体系 服务城市规划管理

在分析勘测单位为城市规划管理提供测绘服务现状的基础上,提出建立新的面向服务的信息化测绘工作体系需要丰富现有数据产品内容,增加测绘服务种类,扩展规划服务领域,综合利用空间分析方法和信息技术进行城建信息的挖掘,从而为城市规划管理建立完善的测绘保障。     

Using the MD CAD model to develop the time–cost integrated schedule for construction projects

Time and cost are two critical factors determining the success of a construction project. However, it is still a daunting task for project planners to develop a time–cost integrated schedule due to the tremendous amount of information that need to be processed. Various research efforts have been made to develop model-based systems to facilitate information processing and integrate time and cost throughout the project life cycle. However, the results of the previous studies are not comprehensive enough to fulfill the requirements of project management. This paper presents a scheduling system that applies Multi-Dimensional (MD) CAD model, Object Sequencing Matrix (OSM), and genetic algorithms (GAs) to generate the time–cost integrated schedule for the construction project. A computer implementation called MD CAD model-based Project Scheduling System (MD_PSS) is also developed to verify the feasibility of the proposed approach.     

面向航空工业厂区的BIM+GIS集成应用——三维地下管线信息系统的构建

针对航空工业厂区EPC项目科研生产要求高、涉及管线种类众多、工艺复杂及敷设方式特殊的问题,本文探索BIM与GIS的数据融合,形成了一套标准的BIM与GIS集成技术路线(数据融合、功能集成、集成应用),构建起统一的三维地下管线信息系统。不仅可解决规划设计阶段航空工业厂区复杂工艺管线的竖向设计问题,为EPC项目的采购施工提供更精确的计量计价参考,而且能实现对航空工业厂区地下管线信息的集中管理、统一调配和资源共享。对本文的研究还将为航空厂区智慧运维系统建设提供标准统一的底层数据及接口,并为智慧工厂的建设建立起基础数据平台,实现数字化成果从单一建筑交付向全套完整的数字资产交付拓展。

随着城市化、信息化进程的日益加快,自上世纪80年代末以来,全国近300个城市陆续建立起来的城市规划信息化平台也面临着如何进一步提升和创新的问题,本文通过对城市规划管理信息综合平台建设问题的论述,结合漳州市规划信息管理平台的建设实践,提出了基于一体化的应用集成框架技术,建立城市规划管理信息综合平台,实现＂信息网络化、办公自动化、决策智能化、政务公开化和服务社会化＂的规划管理目标。     

The effects of project uncertainty and risk management on IS development project performance: A vendor perspective

The structural contingency perspective has been widely used in information systems development (ISD) project risk management research. This paper develops an integrative model to explore the moderating effects of uncertainty on the relationship between risk management and IS development project performance from a vendor perspective, rather than the client perspective that is mainly employed in the literature. A survey-based research design is used to collect data to test the proposed model. The results reveal that project uncertainty can moderate the effects of project planning and control on process performance and the effects of user participation on product performance. More specifically, the results indicate that project planning and control makes a greater contribution to process performance when there is a low level of inherent uncertainty and that user participation makes a greater contribution to product performance when there is a high level of inherent uncertainty. The results of this study contribute to a more acute understanding of the contingency approach to ISD project risk management.     

建筑工业化视角下的高层住宅立面自动生成

揭示系统化集成设计在新型建筑工业化背景下的重要作用,以高层住宅这一类型为例探索立面生成技术路径。从信息整合、生成方法、工具实现三个方面展开研究,提出层级式描述方法梳理数据信息,研究立面构成类型,基于内部功能建立平、立面之间的映射关系并编码转化。基于Java和Revit平台,通过主从式架构开发面向建筑师的生成设计工具,可实现依据输入平面生成不同风格的立面模型,并集成相关指标及下游生产建造数据。系统化集成设计方法整合各环节信息,构建与建筑物质化实现过程对应的数字链,有利于推动设计—建造一体化。     

The Paradox of Participation and the Hidden Role of Information: A Case Study

This article examines the complex and often indirect role of participation and information in an integrated planning context. The case study is based in a diverse urban-rural estuarine setting where an integrated resource management program was established to help manage environmental and economic planning issues. The results of the research suggest that the use of participation by those not in government as a measure of success in achieving program objectives must be approached with caution and research resourcefulness in order to form an accurate image of impact and origin. The work supports the idea in planning theory that information has a transformative function that can alter perceptions and mindsets in advance of a decision phase, and affects planning systems at all stages. Dichotomies in opinion of program success and performance may be linked to information access. Consensus building among government agencies and nongovernmental organizations also requires broad access to information. The research indicates that participation by proxy can also be a significant source of influence.
