随着CAD 技术的普及,飞机三维外型计算机辅助设计基本实现数字化,但目前飞机公差设计尚未实现计算机辅助设计。公差设计仍然需要大量手工计算,导致飞机公差设计与产品总体设计不协调,制约飞机数字化设计、制造技术的发展。探讨如何以现有CAD 三维造型系统为技术平台,开发计算机辅助飞机公差设计模块,实现平面尺寸链的飞机公差分析和分配的计算机辅助设计。给出在UG 平台上实现计算机辅助飞机公差设计模块的开发方案,并有利用该模块进行飞机装配件公差设计的运行实例。  相似文献

This paper considers the extent to which the amateur use of expert systems for home design challenges traditional views of the design process. The issues are examined in the context of competing definitions of design. The emergence of a design process characterised as ‘teledesign’ is then considered, wherein retailers provide a CAD/CAM service to consumers, allowing the latter to use expert systems to modify template designs and get products fabricated to their own specifications. Such a system may be seen to empower consumers as designers, rather than just selectors of products, and would differ considerably from established paradigms of design, manufacture and consumption, such as that given by Baudrillard.  相似文献

We report findings from an extensive study of the users of a Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) system. Our observations suggest that the CAD system is used inefficiently, because users approach computer-aided drafting from a T-square metaphor reflecting their past experience with traditional drawing media. This prevents them from discovering and using effectively powerful system commands that have no equivalent in manual techniques. These findings suggest that we should rethink the ways in which CAD users are trained and manuals are written, and that we introduce CAD users to a more strategic use of CAD, particularly to a Detail/Aggregate/Manipulate (DAM) strategy that takes advantage of the compositional logic underlying a design.  相似文献

Conventional computer aided design (CAD) systems have not provided enough support for conceptual design partly due to the lack of natural and intuitive human-computer interaction. Currently emerging virtual reality (VR) based techniques offer new ways to overcome these obstacles. In this paper, new CAD user interfaces including two-handed operation, haptic interaction, stereoscopic display and auditory feedback are investigated. The contribution of this work is to develop a new direct, natural and intuitive interaction paradigm required to support conceptual design. This paradigm enables designers to take fuller advantage of their visual, auditory and tactile sensorial channels to create, view, touch, hold, manipulate and listen to computer-generated virtual models. This is done more easily and freely in a more realistic three-dimensional (3D) environment through convenient interface device operation. A new conceptual design system called the LUCID system that fully integrates and implements these VR-based innovative interfaces into one design application is presented. As an approach to the next generation of human-computer interfaces for use in the design activity, the LUCID system has shown particular human computer interface benefits to designers during conceptual design based on the outcome from the user evaluation test.  相似文献

Preliminary design of process manufacturing facilities involves, among other things, the synthesis of detailed layout designs. In current practice, this spatial design process is very labor-intensive and expensive. This paper describes a prototype CAD system which models design decision-making, providing a computable framework for automation. The CAD system performs auto-elicitation of an expert's judgment in the form of fuzzy sets using interactive computer graphics. These fuzzy sets are then used in a heuristic search process employing multi-objective, non-linear optimization. Designs synthesized by this fuzzy CAD system are comparable to those generated by hand, and in some cases exceed a practitioner's design in quality. The CAD system, as presently constructed, provides multiple solutions. Conclusions and recommendations regarding processing speed and unrepresented heuristic content are made.  相似文献

在提出的电子光学系统最优化设计与科学计算可视化相结合的新构想──可视化最优化设计中,以电子发射系统为例,提出了一种有效方法:逆向匹配插值法,可以将代化搜索过程中电子轨迹显示成电子束密度分布,进而为电子光学系统最优化设计实现实时控制和在线判断提供了可能性。还与类蒙特卡罗方法作了比较和讨论。  相似文献
