基于RFID使能的电子看板以供应链分销网络三级库存系统为例,根据其结构特点和运作时各阶段节点企业的功能,借鉴单工厂多阶段生产存储系统最优的Push/Pull混合控制结构,设计了制造商库存采用Push控制,分销商和零售商库存采用RFID使能的Pull控制的RFID使能的Push/Pull混合控制结构。为验证混合控制策略的性能,将其与基于RFID技术的( s,S)策略相对比,建立了两策略的数学模型及性能评价指标。考虑到供应链系统的动态性与随机性,基于离散事件系统仿真原理,设计并实现了系统的仿真模型,通过仿真实例验证并分析了混合控制策略的有效性和优越性,为供应链多级库存网络管理实践提供了参考。  相似文献

The study examines how the utilisation of a new performance measurement system (PMS) influences supply chain management (SCM) and what kind of impacts the new system has on the performance of the supply chain. The paper utilises a longitudinal research setting where the data was gathered in two semi-structured interview studies after an action research project in which a new measurement system was designed and developed. The findings show how a PMS serves as a catalyst of inter-organisational knowledge transfer and promotes shared learning. The results also show how knowledge transfer and shared learning led to improved performance of the supply chain. The paper contributes by opening up the practical mechanisms through which performance measurement provides value for SCM and by showing how inter-organisational transfer of performance information catalyses learning and performance improvement. The paper looks beyond the design of performance measures and provides a view on the practice of supply chain performance management. The paper illustrates how sharing performance information amongst supply chain companies improves managers’ awareness of shared targets and the status of network operations. This also resulted in improved performance in the studied case network. Overall, the results encourage organisations to engage in network-level performance measurement and share performance information with their network partners.  相似文献

This study reviewed the literature and interviewed managers to discover the dimensions of a new construct called the entrepreneurial supply chain management competence of small and medium-sized enterprises. We measured entrepreneurial SCM competence in terms of five first-order constructs: innovation orientation, proactiveness orientation, risk-taking characteristics, relational capital, and coordination capability. We further proposed that this competence affects SMEs’ performance directly and indirectly via the firm's SCM strategies. A set of survey data collected from automotive OEM suppliers in five ASEAN countries was used to test the research model. Results show that the five constructs are important dimensions of entrepreneurial SCM competence, and that they affect performance indirectly. Our findings provide valuable insights about the enablers of an SME's SCM practices and their effects on firm performance.  相似文献

Performance measurement systems (PMS) have commonly been applied to evaluate and reward performances at managerial levels, especially in the context of supply chain management. However, evidence suggests that the effective use of PMS can also positively influence the behaviour and improve performance at an operational level. The motivation is to accomplish organisational goals, namely to increase supply chain flexibility by responding to evermore-varying customer demands in a timely manner. The purpose of the study described in this paper was to develop a conceptual framework that adopts performance measures for ex-ante decision-making at an operational level within the supply chain. To guide the research, five questions were asked and subsequently key gaps have been identified. In an attempt to fill the gaps, a case study at a major global brand beverage company has been carried out, and as a result, a conceptual framework of the PMS has been developed. Overall, the research offers a foundation of the applicability and impact of PMS in the supply chain and provides a framework that attends to some of the potential uses of PMS that so far have not been practically applied. The outcomes from the testing indicate that the initial gaps identified in the literature have been addressed and that the framework is judicious with scope for practical applicability. The framework is deemed worthy of further testing in different operational contexts of the supply chain.  相似文献

Emerging research strengthens the connection between supply chain performance and a company's financial performance (D’Avanzo, R., Von Lewinski, H. and Van Wassenhove, L. N., 2003. The focus on integrating functional internal processes has expanded to include the need for integrating these with external processes of business partners (Edwards, P., Peters, M. and Sharman, G., 2001. The effectiveness of information systems in supporting the extended supply chain. Journal of Business Logistics, 22(1), 1–27). This need for enterprise efficiency is compelling companies to review, to identify, and to adopt supply chain initiatives. This research investigates the use of common measurement metrics in an attempt to determine which one(s) are most useful for measuring performance as companies implement SCM practices. For firms that were engaged in SCM we found inventory and cycle time to be the most significant metrics.  相似文献

This paper uses a systematic review to answer two research questions: (1) has this large number of performance measurement systems (PMS) publications contributed to a better understanding of performance measurement? and (2) what would a better understanding of PMS lead us to? This paper found that the field has not evolved substantially for the past 30 years. While various PMS are discussed and proposed, there are many instances of a common ground on what were discussed but in a few instances, there is little to no agreement concerning the activities and characteristics used to describe them, and there is also a great deal of overlap in the meaning of definitions and terms. Nevertheless, the synthesis review revealed that many of the discussions of the fundamental characteristics useful and in certain cases, interesting and insightful. Research gaps were identified and narrowed by synthesising instances of a common ground, and if a common ground is not forthcoming, references to non-PMS articles were made in order to ascertain the ‘true’ meaning of terms, purposes and applications of PMS. This improves our understanding of PMS, and thus we can use the result of the review to conceptualise and present coherent arguments in the pursuance of a good PMS. This research has important implications for both practitioners and academics in the area of performance measurement within an organisation, and shall provide a basis on which ongoing and future research efforts on this field can be built upon.  相似文献

Nowadays, supply chain management (SCM) has become one of the focal points of competition. The importance of information sharing in SCM is gradually increasing in terms of improving the business performance. In this study, an attempt to determine the effect of information sharing in the supply chain process (SCP) on cost, financial and business performance, in general, was made. The attempt was made by means of a measuring tool which is based on a theoretical approach. For this purpose, the structural equation model (SEM) was established by taking into account the supply chain structure, SCP, supply chain flexibility, environmental uncertainties and information sharing latent structures in businesses and the cost and financial performance indicators. In this study, differently from most other studies, two performance variables were included, and the model was created by defining these variables, which could be measured with more than one indicator, as latent variables. For this purpose, the data obtained from a questionnaire study performed on large firms within the scope of ISO 1000 were used. An attempt to reveal the factors affecting the cost and financial performance of businesses in SCM was made in the study. As a result of the analyses performed, the proposed SEM model was tested by taking into account various compliance criteria, and the validity and reliability of the model were determined.  相似文献

This paper examines the antecedents to effective performance measurement system (PMS) implementation. There have been only a few studies which have investigated this topic, and to-date there is no consensus about what factors are significant. Using empirical data collected from 349 UK manufacturing firms, we identify six potential factors from an item pool derived from an extensive literature review. Subsequent regression analysis reveals that all six factors have a significant influence on PMS implementation effectiveness. We characterise these factors into two sub-sets, with the technical sub-set accounting for most of the variance in the dependent variable. We also demonstrate that ‘softer’ social factors additionally have a significant, albeit comparatively small, effect. These, we argue, are essential in order to bind an organisation’s approach to performance measurement into one cohesive whole. Our findings provide managers with a clearer view of the factors which may influence the effectiveness of their PMS implementation. Moreover, we anticipate that the findings should provide empirical stimulation of an important debate about how to ensure that organisations can implement PMSs that are adequate for their purposes. As such, while the findings have current utility, their additional value is in providing a platform for subsequent research.  相似文献

In modern business environments, an effective supply chain management (SCM) is crucial to business continuity. Competition between supply chains (SC) has replaced the traditional competition between companies. Lean, Agile, Resilient and Green (LARG) paradigms are advocated as the foundation of a competitive SCM. To make a supply chain more competitive, capable of responding to the demands of customers with agility and capable of responding effectively to unexpected disturbance, in conjugation with environmental responsibilities and the necessity to eliminate processes that add no value, companies must implement a set of LARG SCM practices and key performance indicators (KPI) to measure their influence on the SC performance. However, the selection of the best LARG SCM practices and KPIs is a complex problem, involving dependencies and feedbacks. This paper proposes an integrated LARG analytic network process (ANP) model to support decision-making in choosing the most appropriate practices and KPIs to be implemented by companies in an SC. To validate the model in an exploratory approach, a case study in an automaker supply chain is presented.  相似文献
