This paper presents a design method of static output feedback control for continuous-time T-S fuzzy systems. Based on parallel distributed compensation (PDC), a static output feedback control is utilized. A new sufficient condition for the existence of static output feedback gains is represented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The sufficient condition does not need any transformation matrices, equality constraints, and block diagonal assumption of positive definite matrices in order to convert a bilinear matrix inequality (BMI) problem to an LMI one. 相似文献

This paper examines the problem of output feedback control of a Takagi–Sugeno (TS) fuzzy fishery system. The considered system is the continuous age structured model of an exploited population that includes a nonlinear stock–recruitment relationship. The effort is used as control term, the age classes as states and the quantity of captured fish per unit of effort as measured output. In order to stabilize the stock states around the references equilibrium, which means biologically the sustainability of the fish stock, the output feedback controller is adopted, rather than a controller based on the state observer. An algorithm based on the linear matrix inequality is proposed to compute the static output feedback gain. Simulation results of the continuous fishery systems confirm the effectiveness of the proposed design. 相似文献

This study aims to design an interval type‐2 (IT2) fuzzy static output feedback controller to stabilize the IT2 Takagi‐Sugeno (T‐S) fuzzy system. Conservative results may be obtained when a common quadratic Lyapunov function is utilized to investigate the stability of T‐S fuzzy systems. A fuzzy Lyapunov function is employed in this study to analyze the stability of the IT2 fuzzy closed‐loop system formed by the IT2 T‐S fuzzy model and the IT2 fuzzy static output feedback controller. Stability conditions in the form of linear matrix inequalities are derived. Several slack matrices are introduced to further reduce the conservativeness of stability analysis. The membership‐function shape‐dependent analysis approach is also employed to relax the stability results. The numerical examples illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed conditions. 相似文献

This paper proposes a new quadratic stabilization condition for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy control systems. The condition is represented in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and is shown to be less conservative than some relaxed quadratic stabilization conditions published recently in the literature. A rigorous theoretic proof is given to show that the proposed condition can include previous results as special cases. In comparison with conventional conditions, the proposed condition is not only suitable for designing fuzzy state feedback controllers but also convenient for fuzzy static output feedback controller design. The latter design work is quite hard for T-S fuzzy control systems. Based on the LMI-based conditions derived, one can easily synthesize controllers for stabilizing T-S fuzzy control systems. Since only a set of LMIs is involved, the controller design is quite simple and numerically tractable. Finally, the validity and applicability of the proposed approach are successfully demonstrated in the control of a continuous-time nonlinear system. 相似文献

In this paper, the static output feedback stabilisation of discrete event dynamic systems (DEDSs) is investigated via the semi-tensor product (STP) of matrices. Firstly, the dynamics of DEDSs modelled by deterministic Moore-type finite automata are converted into an matrix expression in the STP frame. Secondly, necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a static output feedback control pattern, stabilising the controlled discrete event dynamic systems to some equilibrium point, are given, and constructive algorithms to seek the static output feedback control pattern including an effective specific solution algorithm and an analytic solution algorithm are proposed. Thirdly, the equilibrium-based static output feedback stabilisation of DEDSs is extended to the set-based static output feedback stabilisation and necessary and sufficient conditions and constructive algorithms to seek the corresponding control pattern are provided. In this paper we shall consider the H∞ control problem using static output feedback. The approach uses some recent results from linear algebra. The main result shows that the H∞ control problem is solvable by a static output feedback controller if and only if there exists a positive definite matrix satisfying two certain quadratic matrix inequalities. In this paper, the static output feedback decentralized stabilization problem is addressed using a linear matrix inequality approach. A necessary and sufficient condition for static output feedback decentralized stabilizability is derived for linear time-invariant large-scale systems. It is proven that the existence of a stabilizing decentralized gain is equivalent to that of the solution of a quadratic matrix inequality. The extension of the result to

The paper presents a static output feedback controller design approach for seismic-excited structures. An energy-to-peak control performance is used and actuator saturation is taken into consideration. By combining the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique and the random search results of genetic algorithm (GA), a desirable static output feedback controller can be computed. Two building structures under seismic loads are used to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method in reducing the structural vibration. Simulation results also show that the energy-to-peak performance based controller can well realize the peak response suppression requirement and the static output feedback controller can achieve the same level of control performance as that of a full-state feedback controller. 相似文献

This note proposes a new design tool for optimizing static output feedback using a linear matrix inequality (LMI) formula called substitutive LMI. A matrix inequality derived from static output feedback is not usually linear. Adding a positive definite term including auxiliary variables, the matrix inequality is transformed into an LMI with respect to the positive definite matrix and the static output feedback gain. An iterative calculation algorithm is given to solve the substitutive LMI. In this note, designs of the static output feedback gain are shown in the frame of H/sub /spl infin// and H/sub 2/ syntheses. In this paper, the problem of static output feedback control of a linear system is considered. The existence of a static output feedback control law is given in terms of the solvability of two coupled Lyapunov inequalities which result in a non-linear optimisation problem. However, using state-coordinate and congruence transformations and by imposing a block-diagonal structure on the Lyapunov matrix, we will see that the determination of a static output feedback gain reduces, for a specific class of plants, to finding the solution of a system of linear matrix inequalities. The class of plants considered is those which are minimum phase with a full row rank Markov parameter. The method is extended to incorporate H∞ performance objectives. This results in a sub-optimal static H∞ control law found by non-iterative means. The simplicity of the method is demonstrated by a numerical example. 相似文献

This paper studies output feedback stabilization of Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy systems with input or state constraint and bounded noise. A dynamic output feedback controller is adopted, rather than a controller based on the state observer. The notion of quadratic boundedness specified by a common Lyapunov matrix, which is novel in fuzzy control, is invoked to handle the noise. Under the proposed controller, the state of the closed-loop system is stabilizing to an ellipsoid specified by this common Lyapunov matrix.
