在分析了光纤光栅外腔半导体激光器(FBG-ECL)基本特性的基础上,调研了适用于该类型激光器的频率调谐方法,包括温度调谐法和应力调谐法,选取轴向应力调谐法改变光纤光栅的布拉格中心波长,进而实现频率调谐。利用压电陶瓷(PZT)来对光纤光栅施加轴向应力,通过调整PZT驱动电压值的大小来控制光纤光栅布拉格中心波长的变化量。实验结果表明,对于波长1550 nm的光纤光栅激光器,当PZT的驱动电压增加到126 V时,可实现 0.8 nm,即100 GHz的调谐范围以及每周期2 ms的调谐速度。 相似文献

对基于应力、位移、空间角度的多参数可调谐的光纤光栅(FBG)波长调谐进行了理论分析和实验研究.根据推导出的波长调谐公式,数值模拟了光纤光栅波长受应力、位移、空间角度时的多种调谐关系.在模拟分析的基础上,设计了一种基于应力、位移、空间角度的多参数可调谐的光纤光栅波长调谐器,并进行了实验验证.实验表明基于应力、位移的调谐为线性调谐,各光栅调谐线性拟合度均达0.9975以上;基于角度的调谐近似满足正(余)弦调谐.理论分析和实验测量具有良好的一致性. 相似文献

为了进一步提高光纤光栅解调系统的性能,提出和研究了一种新颖的基于可调谐F-P(Fabry-Perot)滤波器的光纤光栅解调技术,并以此为基础构建了探测系统。系统使用一个固定波长的参考光纤光栅作为波长参考元件,通过对传感光纤光栅与参考光纤光栅的波长测量与差值运算,消除了可调谐FP滤波器腔长漂移对测量精度的影响。给出压电陶瓷电压对应的伸长量,有效地减小了压电陶瓷非线性对测量的影响,提高了光纤光栅波长的测量精度。在测量范围内,最大非线性偏差为0.5%。 相似文献

报道了一种新型全光纤离散可调谐分布反射(DBR)光纤激光器。光纤激光器为短腔结构,其有源区采用Er-Yb共掺单模光纤,有源光纤长度为6 cm。激光器采用两组级联光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)为反射腔镜,前腔镜各级联光纤布拉格光栅的布拉格波长间隔为1 nm,后腔镜为0.8 nm,利用游标原理,通过对前腔镜级联光纤布拉格光栅进行机械调谐,使前后腔镜各反射波长分别对准,实现了四个固定波长间隔为0.8 nm的离散调谐。这种光纤激光器具有波长调节准确,调谐速度快,成本低的优点,可用于作为多波长光纤传输系统的发射光源或系统检测光源,进一步增加级联光栅的组数可实现更大调谐范围。 相似文献

An efficient scheme to change the chirp rate of a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) has been developed based on a specially-designed cantilever beam with the beam-bending method. It allows, to date, the largest tuning range of 36 nm in reflection bandwidth of a chirped-FBG (CFBG) while keeping the center wavelength nearly fixed during the tuning process. Using this method, bandwidth-tunable fiber grating filters with tunable chromatic dispersion or differential group delay have been demonstrated. Channel spacing-tunable multi-wavelength filters based on both sampled- and superimposed-CFBGs have also been realized. Moreover, tuning of the bandwidth and channel spacing is continuous with this scheme that makes the achieved devices more flexible. 相似文献

A double-arched-beam-based fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor for displacement measurement is presented. Unlike most FBG sensors that measure the resonance wavelength shifts to detect the measurand, this kind of FBG sensor is proposed to measure the displacement based on the demodulation of the FBG's reflective spectra bandwidth. According to the strain distribution on the novel double-arched beam surface, the positive and negative strain will act on only one FBG, which is stuck on the beam surface. Thus, the positive and negative strain will make the spectra broaden as the displacement increases. What is more, the problem of cross-sensitivity in the FBG sensor is solved because temperature only affects the wavelength shift, but not the spectra bandwidth. Simulation and preliminary experimental results indicate the feasibility of the proposed idea and a fairly good linearity of the measurement characteristic. 相似文献

A systematic method based on topology and shape optimization techniques has been developed to determine the geometry of a substrate for chirp fiber Bragg grating (FBG) spectrum tuning. The strain distribution on the FBG associated with a given wavelength spectrum is synthesized first by the application of a genetic algorithm. Then the substrate profiles determined either from topology or shape optimizations can generate the required strain distribution on FBG that responds to the required wavelength spectrum of a chirp FBG. The profile obtained from shape optimization, compared with that from topology optimization, has clear advantages in easier manufacturing and better liability. Although the strain distribution of a chirp FBG demonstrated here is simple in this study, it should be emphasized that this methodology also can be easily applied to determine other substrate profile whose strain distribution is regarding to a more complex wavelength spectrum of an FBG. 相似文献

针对传统滑坡预警监测技术中存在的自动化程度 较低、测量精度不高,不易对边坡实现大面积和长 期可靠在线监测等不足,研究了采用光纤光栅(FBG)弯曲传感技术用于边坡表面形变及深 部位移测量的 结构原理及具体应用方式。在分析采用简支梁和悬臂梁两种结构实现FBG弯曲调谐原理 的基础上,选择具有不同中心波长的FBG进行串接后,粘贴于弹性杆件PVC管上,实验验 证了利用简支梁和悬臂 梁两种FBG弯曲调谐结构实现边坡表面形变及深部位移进行原理性测量的可行性。实验结果 表明,粘贴在 PVC管上不同位置的FBG的波长变化量与该位置的形变量有着明显的线性对应关系;两种结构 最大形变位 置的FBG测量灵敏度分别为0.245 nm/mm和0.166nm/mm;采用在PVC管两侧对称180°的位置粘贴 FBG的方法,可在提高FBG检测灵敏度的同时,解决FBG温度及应变的交叉敏感问题,消除环 境温度变化对FBG弯曲传感测量结果的 影响。 相似文献
