This paper proposes a novel behavior-based anti-spam technology for email service based on an artificial immune-inspired clustering
algorithm. The suggested method is capable of continuously delivering the most relevant spam emails from the collection of
all spam emails that are reported by the members of the network. Mail servers could implement the anti-spam technology by
using the “black lists” that have been already recognized. Two main concepts are introduced, which defines the behavior-based
characteristics of spam and to continuously identify the similar groups of spam when processing the spam streams. Experiment
results using real-world datasets reveal that the proposed technology is reliable, efficient and scalable. Since no single
technology can achieve one hundred percent spam detection with zero false positives, the proposed method may be used in conjunction

Server performance is one of the critical activities in the data grid environment. A large number of applications require access to huge volumes of data from grid servers. In this case, efficient, scalable and robust grid server which can deal with large file transfer concurrent is needed. In this paper, we analyze the bottleneck of our grid servers and introduce user-space I/O scheduling, zero copy and event-driven architecture in our grid server to improve the servers’ performance. The user-space I/O scheduling can save almost 50% I/O time in a huge number of small files transfer. Grid servers can elimination CPU consumptions between kernel and user space by zero copy and cut 63% times for context switches. Event-driven architecture will save 30% CPU usage to reach the best performance by thread-driven architecture. Optimization method combination of these three above are used in our grid servers, the full-load throughput of our system is 30% more than traditional solutions and only 60% CPU consumed compared with traditional solutions. 相似文献

Grid computing is a recently developed technique for complex systems with large-scale resource sharing, wide-area communication, and multi-institutional collaboration. Although the development tools and techniques for the grid have been extensively investigated, the availability of the grid resource management system (RMS) has not been comprehensively studied. In order to contribute to this lacking but important field, this paper first models the grid RMS availability by considering both the failures of resource management (RM) servers and the length limitation of request queues. A hierarchical Markov reward model is implemented to evaluate the grid RMS availability. Based on the availability model, an optimization problem for designing the grid RMS is studied in order to minimize the cost by determining the best number of RM servers. Then, the sensitivity analysis is conducted, and a dynamic switching scheduling method is further presented based on the sensitivity analysis. 相似文献

贝叶斯邮件过滤器具有较强的分类能力和较高的准确性,但前期的邮件集训练与学习耗用大量系统资源和网络资源,影响系统效率。提出一种基于MapReduce技术的贝叶斯垃圾邮件过滤机制,一方面对传统贝叶斯过滤技术进行改进,另一方面利用MapReduce模型的海量数据处理优势优化邮件集训练与学习。实验表明,较之目前流行的传统贝叶斯算法、K最近邻(KNN)算法和支持向量机(SVM)算法,基于MapReduce的贝叶斯垃圾邮件过滤机制在召回率、查准率和精确率方面保持了较好的表现,同时降低了邮件学习和分类成本,提高了系统执行效率。 相似文献
