We designed a switchless event building farm for the Belle experiment at the KEKB e+e- collider, as a replacement of the existing event builder and the online farm systems. In the new system, PCs are directly interconnected with multiple point-to-point Fast and Gigabit Ethernet connections. The PCs build the detector data in two steps to perform distributed event processing. We set up a test system and confirmed the event building performance meets our new requirements using a realistic prototype software. This article describes the prototype of the read-out subsystem which will be subject to the BESⅢ data acquisition system. According to the purpose of the BESⅢ, the event rate will be about 4000 Hz and the data rate up to 50 Mbytes/sec after Level 1 trigger. The read-out subsystem consists of some read-out crates and a read-out computer whose function is to initialize the hardware, to collect the event data from the front-end electronics after Level 1 trigger, to transfer data fragments to the computer in online form through two levels of computer pre-processing and high-speed network transmission. In this model, the crate level read-out implementation is based on the commercial single board computer MVME5100 running the VxWorks operating system.The article outlines the structure of the crate level testing platform of hardware and software. It puts emphasis on the framework of the read-out test model, data process flow and test method at crate level. Especially, it enumerates the key technologies in the process of design and analyses the test results. In addition, results which summarize the performance of the single board computer from the data transferring aspects will be presented.  相似文献

An idea is presented about the development of a data processing and analysis system for ICF experiments, which is based on an object oriented framework. The design and preliminary implementation of the data processing and analysis framework based on the ROOT system have been completed. The BaBar experiment is characterized by extremely high luminosity and very large volume of data produced and stored, with increasing computing requirements each year. To fulfill these requirements a control system has been designed and developed for the offline distributed data reconstruction system. The control system described in this paper provides the performance and flexibility needed to manage a large number of small computing farms, and takes full benefit of object oriented (OO) design. The infrastructure is well isolated from the processing layer, it is generic and flexible, based on a light framework providing message passing and cooperative multitasking. The system is distributed in a hierarchical way: the top-level system is organized in farms, farms in services, and services in subservices or code modules. It provides a powerful finite state machine framework to describe custom processing models in a simple regular language. This paper describes the design and evolution of this control system, currently in use at SLAC and Padova on$sim$450 CPUs organized in nine farms.  相似文献

In order to obtain diagnostic data with physical meaning,the acquired raw data must be processed through a series of physical formulas or processing algorithms.Some diagnostic data are acquired and processed by the diagnostic systems themselves.The data processing programs are specific and usually run manually,and the processed results of the analytical data are stored in their local disk,which is unshared and unsafe.Thus,it is necessary to integrate all the specific process programs and build an automatic and unified data analysis system with shareable data storage.This paper introduces the design and implementation of the online analysis system.Based on the MDSplus event mechanism,this system deploys synchronous operations for different processing programs.According to the computational complexity and real-time requirements,combined with the programmability of parallel algorithms and hardware costs,the OpenMP parallel processing technology is applied to the EAST analysis system,and significantly enhances the processing efficiency.  相似文献

KTX(Keda Torus for eXperiment)is a new reversed field pinch device.The KTX plasma control system(PCS)can provide real-time,stable,flexible plasma control which is designed by ASIPP(Institute of Plasma Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences),based on the Linux cluster system and EPICS(Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System)framework,and developed from DIII-D(Doublet III-D)PCS.The control of the equilibrium field in KTX uses a PID(Proportional-Integral-Derivative)feedback controller.The control of the gas injection is an open loop control.The plasma control simulation system is one part of the plasma control system,which is used to test the plasma control algorithm if it is revised and updated.The KTX PCS has been successfully tested using HT-7(Hefei Torus 7)experiment data in simulation mode.In the next phase,an error field feedback control and KTX simulator will be added to the KTX PCS,and the KTX PCS will be applied in experiments in the future.  相似文献

The authors have been developing a measurement system for bubbly flow in order to clarify its multi-dimensional flow characteristics and to offer a data base to validate numerical codes for multi-dimensional two-phase flow. In this paper, the measurement system combining an ultrasonic velocity profile monitor with a video data processing unit is proposed, which can measure simultaneously velocity profiles in both gas and liquid phases, a void fraction profile for bubbly flow in a channel, and an average bubble diameter and void fraction. Furthermore, the proposed measurement system is applied to measure flow characteristics of a bubbly countercurrent flow in a vertical rectangular channel to verify its capability.  相似文献

The Trigger Supervisor is an online software system designed for the CMS experiment at CERN. Its purpose is to provide a framework to set up, test, operate and monitor the trigger components on one hand and to manage their interplay and the information exchange with the run control part of the data acquisition system on the other. The Trigger Supervisor is conceived to provide a simple and homogeneous client interface to the online software infrastructure of the trigger subsystems. The functional and nonfunctional requirements, the design, the operational details, and the components needed in order to facilitate a smooth integration of the trigger software in the context of CMS are described.  相似文献

本文介绍了中国先进研究堆(CARR)一次冷却剂回路密封垫破损事件以及运行人员对事件的处理过程,剖析了事件发生的根本原因即管路法兰原安装的缺陷,分析了事件后果影响,即造成冷却剂泄漏,指出该事件未对工作人员辐射安全造成影响,未对反应堆及关键系统设备造成影响,泄漏水均在厂房内,对环境无影响,反应堆各项参数均未超出技术规格书中规定的运行限值与条件。本文对事件的过程数据与安全分析报告的内容进行了分析比较,针对事件发生的原因以及处理过程中遇到的一些问题,按照纵深防御的原则,分别从密封垫选型更换、增设法兰防护套、增设渗漏信号以及加强控制技术等方面阐述了系统的改进及优化。  相似文献

This work has been performed in the framework of the OECD/NEA thermalhydraulic benchmark V1000CT-2. This benchmark is related to fluid mixing in the reactor vessel during a MSLB accident scenario in a VVER-1000 reactor. Coolant mixing in a VVER-1000 V320 reactor was investigated in plant experiments during the commissioning of the Unit 6 of the Kozloduy nuclear power plant. Non-uniform and asymmetric loop flow mixing in the reactor vessel has been observed in the event of symmetric main coolant pump operation. For certain flow conditions, the experimental evidence of an azimuthal shift of the main loop flows with respect to the cold leg axes (swirl) was found.Such asymmetric flow distribution was analyzed with the Trio_U code. Trio_U is a CFD code developed by the CEA Grenoble, aimed to supply an efficient computational tool to simulate transient thermalhydraulic turbulent flows encountered in nuclear systems. For the presented study, a LES approach was used to simulate turbulent mixing. Therefore, a very precise tetrahedral mesh with more than 10 million control volumes has been created.The Trio_U calculation has correctly reproduced the measured rotation of the flow when the CAD data of the constructed reactor pressure vessel where used. This is also true for the comparison of cold leg to assembly mixing coefficients. Using the design data, the calculated swirl was significantly underestimated. Due to this result, it might be possible to improve with CFD calculations the lower plenum flow mixing matrices which are usually used in system codes.  相似文献

为满足热实验在线监测的需要,根据热室工艺设备台架及热室的具体情况,设计加工安装了一套1BP钚在线测量装置,该在线测量装置主要由探测系统、光路系统、样品流通池系统和控制及数据处理系统组成。采用C语言开发了控制及数据处理程序,应用无线模块使仪器和计算机之间实现无线信号传输及远程控制和数据处理。采用Pu标准溶液刻度仪器,建立了1BP溶液中钚在线分析方法。工作曲线的线性范围为0.1~5.0 g/L,R2=0.999。用该测量装置测量0.5 g/L的Pu标准溶液,结果的相对标准偏差为0.67%。该测量装置的热实验应用结果表明,其可实时监测工艺运行状况,监测结果可用于指导各相液流配比的调节。  相似文献

The Fanout system is part of the Silicon Vertex Tracker (SVT), a new trigger processor designed to reconstruct charged particle trajectories at level 2 (L2) of the CDF trigger, with a latency of 10 μs and an event rate up to 100 kHz. The core of SVT is organized as 12 identical slices, which process in parallel the data from the 12 independent azimuthal wedges of the Silicon Vertex Detector (SVXII). Each SVT slice links the digitized pulse heights found within one SVXII wedge to the tracks reconstructed by the level I (L1) fast track finder (XFT) in the corresponding 30° angular region of the Central Outer Tracker (COT). Since the XFT tracks are transmitted to SVT as a single data stream, their distribution to the proper SVT slices requires dedicated fanout logic. The fanout system has been implemented as a multiboard project running on a common 20 MHz clock. Track fanout is performed in two steps by one "Fanout A" and two "Fanout B" boards. The number of information bits per unit time, or data rate, which can be telemetered back to earth from a scientific satellite is limited by restrictions on weight, volume and power. Thus, each experimenter (generally one of many) is allotted a very limited data rate capability. In nuclear experiments, where a wide variety of events may occur per unit time, use of this rate capability may be optimized by selection of events on a priority basis. Described here is an event priority instrumentation system developed for use in scientific satellites. The system allows for the selection of the highest priority event occurring during a telemetry sequence. Also, provision is made for periodically changing the order of priority. All circuitry was designed and developed to minimize weight, volume and power drain and to maintain stable characteristics while unattended for periods as long as one year. 北京谱仪Ⅲ(BESⅢ)是北京正负电子对撞机Ⅱ(BEPCⅡ)上用于τ-粲物理研究的大型通用磁谱仪。BESⅢ实验数据经过离线处理系统重建后才能用于物理分析。论文主要研究了BESⅢ分布式离线数据处理。基于DIANE软件,建立了一个分布式系统用于数据的事例级分布式处理。该系统在漂移室刻度的应用表明,性能能够满足BESⅢ实验的需求。  相似文献
