第一届钨钼学术讨论会暨第四届钨钼情报交流会在长沙召开 中国金属学会稀有金属学术委员会第一届钨钼学术讨论会暨第四届钨钼情报交流会于1984年12月9日在长沙中南矿冶学院召开。来自全国50个单位的96名代表出席了会议。会议共收到论文56篇。 会议总结和交流了近二年来我国钨钼科技工作的成果,并确定今后要着重抓好以下工作

350MW机组给水泵汽轮机汽源切换时给水泵转速波动的处理分析

大型火电机组给水泵汽轮机的稳定运行,关系到发电机组的安全运行。350MW机组给水泵汽轮机汽源主要由辅汽和四段抽汽提供,再热冷段做为备用汽源,当机组负荷达到280MW且四段抽汽压力大于0.8 MPa时,给水泵汽轮机汽源自动切至四段抽汽。某电厂1#、2#机组在调试期间,汽源切换时曾多次出现给水泵转速波动现象,为防止汽源切换导致给水泵转速波动,该厂采取了有效手段,有效的解决了给水泵转速波动的问题。

The power of reputations: The role of third party information in the admission of new group members.

Two experiments investigated whether groups use reputational information to recruit new members. The authors manipulated the candidate's reported self-sacrifices to enter the group and the source of this information. The authors found that third party information was more influential in group admission decisions than information from the candidates themselves, suggesting the power of reputations. Furthermore, group admission rates were also influenced by opportunities to socialize new group members. Typhoid fever: A report on a point-source outbreak of 69 cases in Cape Town

In 1978, after a party in a Cape Town suburb attended by several hundred people, 69 persons were treated for typhoid fever. The precise source of the infection could not be traced, although it is reasonable to suppose that food eaten at the party had been contaminated by the main caterer. All 57 cultures of Salmonella typhi phage-typed were of phage type 46, including that obtained from the stool of the main caterer, who was asymptomatic. An epidemiological profile of the cases and an account of the management of the outbreak is given. There were no deaths and no patient became a carrier. Although the outbreak was contained, certain problems relating thereto are aired, including in particular the potential hazard of food-borne disease wherever housing and environmental standards are low.     

Sudden hearing loss complicating general surgery: report of a case and review of the literature]

The first outbreak of Salmonella enteritidis phage type (PT) 5a infection to be reported occurred after a party in a residential home for elderly people in May 1995. The party was attended attended by 96 residents, staff and guests. S. enteritidis PT5a was isolated from 14 of the 25 clinical cases identified after the party and S. enteritidis PT4 from another clinical case. Two elderly residents with S. enteritidis PT5a infection died. Infection with S. enteritidis PT5a was associated with consumption of prawn in mayonnaise vol-au-vents, sausage rolls, corned beef sandwiches, and sausages. The investigation of this outbreak illustrated the difficulty that elderly people may have in the completion of questionnaires. It also highlighted areas for intervention; such as reminders about basic hygiene precautions to prevent secondary spread and the importance of coordinated reinforcement in the workplace of formal food hygiene training for cooks. The Food Safety Regulations 1995 came into force soon after this outbreak: their implementation would probably have prevented it.

中国共产党具有通过总结党的历史经验推动革命事业,并以党的历史教育干部和党员的传统。党史上几次大规模有关党史的学习和讨论都对当时的革命事业起了巨大的推动作用。学习党史应对党的整个历史发展作深入了解,以党的路线、方针和政策的发展为学习重点,继承和发扬党的优良传统,团结一致向前看。     

The protein efficiency ratios of 30:70 mixtures of animal:vegetable protein are similar or higher than those of the animal foods alone

C57BL/6 mice receiving pretransplant immunization with C3H.SW spleen cells via the portal vein, but not the vena cava, show Ag-specific delayed rejection of allogeneic C3H.SW skin grafts. This delayed rejection is not seen if preimmunization is performed in gamma delta TCR knockout (C57BL/6-Tcrdtm1Mom) mice. gamma delta TCR+ and alpha beta TCR+ hybridoma cells were prepared from Peyer's patch cells harvested from C57BL/6 mice 4 days following portal venous immunization with 100 x 10(6) irradiated C3H.SW spleen cells and skin grafting with C3H.SW tail skin. After recloning, these hybridoma cells were tested for cytokine production in vitro following restimulation with irradiated C3H.SW spleen cells and for their ability to delay rejection of C3H.SW skin grafts after adoptive transfer to C57BL/6 mice. Delayed graft rejection was a function of cells that showed preferential production of IL-10, not IFN-gamma, in vitro, independent of the source (vena cava or portal vein immunized mice) or the TCR phenotype of the hybridoma. Simultaneous infusion of anti-IL-10 mAb abolished this graft prolongation effect of transferred gamma delta TCR+ hybridomas. Hybridoma cells producing IL-10 on restimulation could polarize cytokine production from freshly stimulated mesenteric lymph node away from production of IL-2 and IFN-gamma, and toward IL-4, IL-10, and TGF-beta production. This immunoregulation by hybridoma cells in vivo and in vitro was observed even for third party Ag-stimulated mice/cells as long as the hybridoma cells themselves received stimulation with their specific Ag.     

Cardiac allografts from IL-4 knockout recipients: assessment of transplant arteriosclerosis and peripheral tolerance

To study the role of IL-4 in tolerance induction and transplant arteriosclerosis, BALB/c hearts were transplanted into C57BL/6J wild-type or IL-4 knockout (IL-4(-/-)) recipients. A 30-day course of anti-CD4/8 mAb was used to induce long term graft survival. Primary graft survival was 50% (5 of 10) in IL-4(-/-) recipients comparable to 63% (5 of 8) in wild-type recipients. Mice with allografts surviving >80 days were tested for tolerance by challenge with a second donor or third party (CBA) heart. Secondary donor-strain heart grafts survived >30 days, but showed histologic evidence of ongoing alloimmune response. Third party hearts rejected rapidly. Although immunostaining and 32P RT-PCR assays showed no differences in the mononuclear cell infiltration and T cell activation between IL-4(-/-) and wild-type tolerant recipients, some monokines (IL-12, TNF-alpha, and allograft inflammatory factor-1) were up-regulated in grafts from IL-4(-/-) recipients. Computer-assisted analysis of elastin-stained vessels revealed that the severity of vascular thickening (percentage of luminal occlusion, mean +/- SD, n = 329) was similar in grafts from IL-4(-/-) (63.7 +/- 16.9%) and wild-type (69.5 +/- 17.6%) recipients. Thus, IL-4 deficiency did not alter primary or secondary graft survival, infiltration, or vascular thickening. The selective alterations in monokine expression suggests that alternative pathways are activated and may compensate in IL-4(-/-) mice.     

Do the clothes make the man? An exploration of the effect of lineup attire on eyewitness identification accuracy.

In 3 experiments, 392 undergraduates witnessed staged crimes and attempted to identify criminals from photographic lineups containing a picture of the guilty party or a similar looking but innocent suspect. Lineup attire was manipulated: (1) Only the suspects wore clothing similar to that worn during the crime (biased lineups); (2) everyone wore different attire (usual lineups); and (3) everyone was dressed alike. Data reveal that the rate of identifications of the guilty party was not influenced by lineup attire. However, the innocent suspect was most likely to be identified from a clothing-biased lineup. Data also show that Ss who selected the suspect clothing from photographs of clothing were significantly more accurate in their identification of the person than Ss who failed to select the suspect clothing. Donor cell induced CD69 expression and intracellular IL-2 and IL-4 production by peripheral blood lymphocytes isolated from kidney transplant recipients

Flow cytometry assays, which measure CD69 activation and intracellular cytokine production, have been used to measure peripheral blood lymphocyte (PBL) responses to in vitro antigen exposure. In the present study, we show that, in healthy individuals and immunosuppressed kidney transplant recipients, CD69 expression and intracellular cytokine production by peripheral blood T cells compare favorably to thymidine uptake as a measure of PBL response to alloantigen in mixed leukocyte culture (MLC). Heparinized whole blood from 23 healthy individuals was incubated for 24-48 h with 3rd party allogeneic monocytes; blood from twelve kidney transplant recipients was incubated with monocytes from their kidney donor and with monocytes from unrelated individuals. The percentage of T cells expressing surface CD69 or intracellular IL-2 or IL-4 was determined by 3-color flow cytometry. We identified 5 donor-specific response patterns in our kidney transplant group. One transplant recipient was hyporesponsive; his cells did not express CD69 or produce IL-2 in response to either donor or 3rd party allogeneic cells. All other transplant recipients expressed CD69 and IL-2 in response to 3rd party allogeneic cells. Two had no response to donor cells (donor-specific hyporesponsiveness), three had donor-specific anergy (CD69 expression without cytokine production in response to donor cells), five had a donor-specific Thl response (CD69 expression and IL-2 production in response to donor cells), and one had a donor-specific Th2 response (CD69 expression and IL-4 but not IL-2 production in response to donor cells). Rapid measures of donor-specific hyporesponsiveness such as CD69 activation antigen expression and intracellular cytokine production may prove valuable in monitoring lymphocyte function and aid in the long-term management of kidney transplant recipients.
