介绍了一种利用8051芯片结合嵌入式软件的通用红外数据传输及遥控技术的实现方案,并给出了相应的硬件电路与软件流程图。该方案可以用于几乎所有家电设备的红外遥控,也可以用于家电设备与电脑、手机等具有红外传输接口的设备之间进行数据交换,电路设计简单实用,应用范围十分广泛。在该方案的基础上,进一步提出了消费类家电“统一红外传输控制协议”的概念,以实现用一个控制器对所有(或大多数)家电进行集中统一控制的设想。  相似文献

Near-field communication (NFC) is a new wireless technology that could unite various standards and proprietary technologies found in the millions of standalone contactless cards. Contactless technology lets users pay for transactions by simply holding cards close to, rather than swiping them through, a reader. NFC is a short-range wireless technology that lets devices communicate when in close proximity. The technology allows for the development of devices, including mobile phones, that can be used like contactless cards. A shorter transmission range and slower data rates distinguish NFC from other short-range wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, radio-frequency identification (RFID), and Wi-Fi. NFC could be used in many ways, including merchandise and service payments, event ticketing, and facility- and computer-access control. The technology could even enter information from a buyer's NFC phone to a suitably equipped PC for e-commerce transactions.  相似文献

Conventionally, RFID tags are used to identify uniquely objects whose data can then be accessed over the network. This implies that the data storage capacity (up to 4K) of HF RFID has usually been neglected. In contrast, this work follows the data-on-tag approach, combining RFID and NFC technologies, with the aim of improving care data management in assistive environments. It analyzes the potential and feasibility of writing and reading small breadcrumbs of information at/from residents’ RFID wristbands, as a solution to the inherent difficulties of gathering, processing and disseminating data within a multi-user, multi-stakeholder assistive environment such as a residence or a caring home. As a result of this, an AAL platform is extended to deploy what we have termed as the “RFID breadcrumbing” interaction metaphor.  相似文献

Young adults have been labelled as one of the most important segments for mobile phones, however there is little empirical evidence to indicate how these young adults value the feature richness of their devices. This research presents a richer view of mobile phone user preferences and perceptions by applying methodologies from the marketing and information systems domains. Conjoint analysis provides insights into how students value various mobile phone applications and tools. Cluster analysis extracts salient and homogenous consumer segments from the conjoint analysis output. Structural equation modelling then explores how antecedents to attitude may differ by the elicited consumer segments.  相似文献

Near Field Communication (NFC) is an emerging proximity wireless technology used for triggering automatic interactions between mobile devices. In standard NFC usage, one message is sent per device contact, then the devices must be physically separated and brought together again. In this paper, we present a mechanism for automatically sending multiple messages without any need to physically decouple the devices. After an introduction to NFC and related security issues, we discuss the motivation for—and an implementation of—an automation framework for sending repeated NFC messages without any need for human interaction. Then we consider how such an automated mechanism can be used for both a denial of service attack and as a platform for fuzz testing. We present experimental evidence on the efficacy of automated NFC as a vector for achieving these goals. We conclude with suggestions for future work and provide some overall insights.  相似文献

In this study, we propose bit-rate adaptation techniques for compressed high-definition video transmission over wireless home networks. Application-layer methods are developed to minimize quality impairments caused by wireless channel degradations. A transrater located at a home video server adjusts the transmission rate of the video stream based on bandwidth measurements. We consider delay constraints of multiple video frames across various time scales, and dynamically select an appropriate time scale for bit-rate adjustments. This novel feature prevents playout buffer underflows and avoids unnecessary rate reductions. Furthermore, distortion due to transrating is minimized by coding type-dependent rate allocation among the frames to be transmitted in the projected time scale. Using a realistic simulation setup, we demonstrated that the proposed technique significantly reduces video glitches. Up to 3.12 dB average PSNR improvement is achieved, compared to a non-delay constrained rate adaptation method, which also utilizes bandwidth measurements. Our approach maintains compliance with existing wireless local area (WLAN) devices and standards, as well as consumer video standards and applications.   相似文献

RFID systems have been widely adopted in various industrial as well as personal applications. However, traditional RFID systems are limited to address only one tag for each application object. This limitation hinders the usability of RFID applications because it is difficult, if not impossible, to distinguish many tags simultaneously with existing RFID systems. In this paper, we propose a new RFID tag structure to support multiple-objects that can be easily shared by many different RFID applications. That is, the proposed RFID tag structure supports that a tag maintains several different objects and allows those applications to access them simultaneously. We also propose an authentication protocol to support multiple-object RFID applications. Especially, we focus on the efficiency of the authentication protocol by considering different security levels in RFID applications. The proposed protocol includes two types of authentication procedures. In the proposed protocol, an object has its security level and goes through one of different authentication procedures suitable for its security level. We report the results of a simulation to test the performance of the proposed scheme. In our simulation, we considered the safety of our scheme against potential attacks and evaluated the efficiency of the proposed protocol.  相似文献

Mobile technologies are present in our daily life and the functionality of these devices should not be restricted to support phone calls or to organize people’s work. We live in a world of connectivity and mobile devices allow users to access a great variety of resources using IR, Wi-Fi, RFID, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS, and so on. In particular, PDA and smartphones are being successfully applied to cultural heritages as an alternative to traditional audio-guides. These electronic guides are offered to users in order to make the visit to the exhibition more pleasant and effective. Our research group has been working in the design and development of mobile software for art museums based on PDA for the past four years. During this period two systems were developed. This paper summarizes the basic features of both applications. The first one is currently operating in a real museum. These applications have been designed by applying a user-centered development process and the main goal of these systems is to improve visitors’ satisfaction by using the PDA while visiting the museum. As the result of usability evaluations performed with real users on the first application, the definition, implementation and evaluation of a new system was conceived. Moreover, the paper describes how personalization issues influenced the development of the system. Location-awareness, internationalization, HCI patterns, language adaptation to visitors and accessibility issues were the most important contributions to personalize the application. The final evaluation performed on the system has proved that the main goals initially stated were successfully achieved.  相似文献

室内定位是智能家居系统中实现居境信息自主巡检的基础支撑技术。针对现有室内定位算法的不足,提出了一种基于RFID的新型室内定位方法。该方法建立基于RFID标签映射的地面坐标,借助电子罗盘获取车载系统方向,通过向量方法计算出车载系统的中心位置,有效地解决了室内定位的精度与稳定性问题。基于该方法,设计并实现了一个室内车载监控系统,验证了算法的有效性。  相似文献

The past two years have witnessed an explosion of interest in radio-frequency identification and supporting technologies, due primarily to their rapidly expanding use in tracking grocery products through the supply chain. Currently such applications monitor store-keeping units (SKUs) rather than individual goods, as the relatively high cost of RFID deployment and the very low profit margin of supermarket products make item-level tagging impractical. Yet, economic and technical concerns aside, it is easy to envision a supermarket in which each item is tagged with an RFID label and all shopping carts feature RFID readers. The carts could potentially include onboard computers that recognize products placed inside and that display information and promotions retrieved wirelessly from the system back end. RFID-enabled smart phones, which are commercially available today and becoming increasingly popular, could carry out the same function. Item-level deployment of RFID technology would also allow for quick checkout aisles that scan all products at once and thus eliminate queues, which are consistently reported as one of the most negative aspects of supermarket shopping. A simple extension of this system would be to embed RFID devices in consumers' loyalty or frequent-shopper cards to identify individuals. This could expedite system login and charge the shopping cost directly to the customer's account at the point of sale-unless removed at the POS, item-level tags will inevitably follow the consumer home. This scenario undoubtedly raises numerous privacy concerns.  相似文献

无线射频识别(RFID)作为一种新型的自动识别技术正逐渐得到广泛应用,但RFID系统的特点和RFID设备的局限性带来了很多安全隐患问题。针对这些问题,讨论并阐明RFID的系统组成和安全隐患,分析了几种现有的典型的RFID 安全协议的特点和缺陷,提出一种基于密钥矩阵的RFID安全协议。该协议使用密钥矩阵来加密标签和阅读器之间传输的数据,并在认证后更新标签中密值,能有效抵抗多种攻击。分析表明,该协议具有效率高、成本低、安全性高等特点。  相似文献

In today’s consumer electronics market, Java has become one of the most important programming languages for the rapid development of mobile applications – spanning from home appliances/controllers, mobile and communication devices, to network-centric applets. However, the demand for high-performance low-power Java-based consumer mobile applications puts forward new challenges to the system design and implementation. This paper analyzes the energy consumption, execution efficiency, and speed issues of Java applications in a typical consumer mobile device environment. By adopting a hardware-assisted approach, we introduce a Java accelerator with a companion Java virtual machine. The accelerator is designed in an asynchronous style, and can be integrated with most existing processors and operating systems. The core architecture, design philosophy, and implementation considerations are presented in detail in this paper.  相似文献

介绍当前智能家居设备互联架构及方式,论述现有智能家居设备中电力线通信加密方法存在的问题.提出一种基于NFC的电力线通信加密方法,该方法使用NFC卡的UID生成网络密钥并对电力线网络链路进行加密.实测表明,该方法较好的解决了现有电力线通信加密存在的问题,增加了NFC读卡的便捷性、准确性、稳定性,具有较高的安全性,对外界干扰具有较强的抑制能力.  相似文献
