结合电力系统的具体情况,提出了一种基于C508、89C51RD2双CPU和智能功率模块(IPM)开发的电力专用不间断电源(UPS)。着重介绍了该UPS的工作原理及硬件与软件设计。通过运用先进的电力电子技术和计算机控制技术,实现了电力专用UPS的全数字、智能化控制。该产品现已批量投产,运行在多个用户现场,运行表明该UPS完全克服了传统UPS在电力系统使用中的局限性,具有自动化程度高、抗干扰能力强、性能稳定的特点,完全满足了电力系统的运行要求。 相似文献

Powerful information networks comprising computers and communication equipment are a modern fact of life. Our dependence upon them requires that they function with no problems. System safety is crucial. Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems are commonly equipped to supply stable power regarding critical loads, e.g., large computer centers, telephone and telecommunication centers, aviation control systems, etc. Several types of UPS systems are now used in many of these important fields. However, there has been to date little numerical evaluation vis-a-vis system reliability. This paper evaluates mean time between failures (MTBF) of parallel redundant UPS systems, and reports that the MTBF of two sets of parallel redundant UPS systems is lower than that of 3 sets of parallel redundant UPS systems under some circumstances. Continuous power supply reliability of the UPS system with bypass and uninterruptible transfer switch is much higher than is the case for other UPS systems lacking bypass circuit and uninterruptible transfer switch. Highly reliable parallel operation technology is also shown. 相似文献

This paper proposes a hybrid discontinuous control methodology for a voltage source converter (VSC), which is used in an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) application. The UPS controls the voltage at the point of common coupling (PCC). An LC filter is connected at the output of the VSC to bypass switching harmonics. With the help of both filter inductor current and filter capacitor voltage control, the voltage across the filter capacitor is controlled. Based on the voltage error, the control is switched between current and voltage control modes. In this scheme, an extra diode state is used that makes the VSC output current discontinuous. This diode state reduces the switching losses. The UPS controls the active power it supplies to a three-phase, four-wire distribution system. This gives a full flexibility to the grid to buy power from the UPS system depending on its cost and load requirement at any given time. The scheme is validated through simulation using PSCAD. 相似文献

Recent years have seen the development of various power electronic conditioners with rapid advancements in their topological
layouts and control algorithms. The examples are active power filters (APFs), fault current limiters (FCLs) and uninterruptible
power supplies (UPSs). There is, however, a lack of international research attention on the integration of the various merits
of the different classes of power conditioners to form a universal system that provides appropriate power compensation to
utility systems under various disturbance conditions. The paper therefore attempts to integrate the harmonic current compensation
of an APF when supplying non-linear loads, the fault current limiting and the bus voltage enhancement capabilities of a FCL,
and the voltage regulation and backup power supply features of a UPS to form a universal power conditioner which significantly
enhances the quality of power supplied under various system conditions.
