This paper considers the stability and stabilization problems for the switched linear stochastic systems under dwell time constraints, where the considered systems can be composed of an arbitrary combination of stable and unstable subsystems. First, a time‐varying discretized Lyapunov function is constructed based on the projection of a linear Lagrange interpolant and a switching‐time‐dependent “weighted” function. The “weighted” function not only enforces the Lyapunov function to decrease at switching instants but also coordinates the dynamical behavior of the subsystems. As a result, some unified criteria for mean square stability and almost sure stability of the switched stochastic systems are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Based on the obtained stochastic stability criteria, 2 types of state feedback controllers for the systems are designed. Moreover, the novel results are applied to solve the intermittent control or the controller failure problems. Finally, conservatism analysis and numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the established theoretical results.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This paper is devoted to study the stability of switched singular stochastic linear systems with both stable and unstable subsystems. By using the method of multiple Lyapunov functions and the notion of average dwell time, we provide sufficient conditions for the exponential mean-square stability of switched singular stochastic systems in terms of a proper switching rule and the linear matrix inequalities. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.  相似文献

This paper studies the stability and stabilization problems for a class of switched stochastic systems under asynchronous switching. The asynchronous switching refers to that the switching of the candidate controllers does not coincide with the switching of system modes. Two situations are considered: (1) time-delayed switching situation, that is, the switching of the candidate controllers has a lag to the switching of the system modes; (2) mismatched switching situation, the switching of the candidate controllers does not match the switching of the system modes. Using average dwell time and Lyapunov-like function, sufficient conditions are established for stochastic input-to-state stability of the whole system. Also, the stabilizing controller design approach is proposed for switched stochastic linear systems. The minimal average dwell time and the controller gain are achieved. Finally, a numerical example is used to demonstrate the validity of the developed results.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we investigate the exponentially incremental dissipativity for nonlinear stochastic switched systems by using the designed state-dependent switching law and multiple Lyapunov functions approach. Specifically, using incremental supply rate as well as a state dissipation inequality in expectation, a stochastic version of exponentially incremental dissipativity is presented. The sufficient conditions for nonlinear stochastic switched systems to be exponentially incrementally dissipative are given by the designed state-dependent switching law. Furthermore, the extended Kalman–Yakubovich–Popov conditions are derived by using two times continuously differentiable storage functions. Moreover, the incremental stability conditions in probability for nonlinear stochastic switched systems are derived based on exponentially incremental dissipativity. The exponentially incremental dissipativity is preserved for the feedback-interconnected nonlinear stochastic switched systems with the composite state-dependent switching law; meanwhile, the incremental stability in probability is preserved under some certain conditions. A numerical example is given to illustrate the validity of our results.  相似文献

In this study, we investigate the stochastic input-to-state stability (SISS) of impulsive switched stochastic nonlinear systems. In this model, the impulse jumps are component multiple maps that depend on time. Thus the model differs from traditional impulsive systems with single impulse between two adjacent switching times. We provide sufficient conditions in three cases with the SISS system by using the Lyapunov function and average impulsive interval approach. The destabilising impulses cannot destroy the SISS properties if the impulses do not occur too frequently when all the subsystems that control the continuous dynamics are SISS. In other words, the average impulsive interval satisfies a lower bound restraint. Conversely, when all subsystems that control the continuous dynamics are not SISS, impulses can contribute to stabilising the system in the SISS sense when the average impulsive interval satisfies an upper bound. Then, we investigate the SISS property of impulsive switched stochastic nonlinear systems with some subsystems that are not SISS under certain conditions such that the property remains obtained. Finally, we show three examples to demonstrate the validity of the main result.  相似文献

Finite-time boundedness and finite-time passivity for a class of switched stochastic complex dynamical networks (CDNs) with coupling delays, parameter uncertainties, reaction-diffusion term and impulsive control are studied. Novel finite-time synchronisation criteria are derived based on passivity theory. This paper proposes a CDN consisting of N linearly and diffusively coupled identical reaction- diffusion neural networks. By constructing of a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii's functional and utilisation of Jensen’s inequality and Wirtinger's inequality, new finite-time passivity criteria for the networks are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be checked numerically using the effective LMI toolbox in MATLAB. Finally, two interesting numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper considers a class of stochastic systems referred to as stochastic switched systems of neutral type with time‐varying delay, which combines switched systems with neutral stochastic systems. The systems consist of subsystems of two forms: (i) only stable subsystems and (ii) both stable subsystems and unstable subsystems. By establishing an integral inequality, the exponential stability in pth(p≥1)‐moment for such systems with only stable subsystems is first considered. Then, by using an average dwell time approach, the exponential stability in pth(p≥1)‐moment for the second form is addressed. An important finding of this study is that when the average dwell time is chosen to be sufficiently large and the total activation time of unstable subsystems is relatively small compared with that of stable subsystems, the exponential stability in pth(p≥1)‐moment for such systems can be guaranteed. Two major advantages of these new results are that the differentiability or continuity of the delay function is not required compared with the existing results in the literature, and the proposed approaches can be used to consider the case when the neutral item and the stochastic perturbation are simultaneously presented. An example is provided to verify the effectiveness and potential of the theoretic results obtained. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

For stochastic systems with state-dependent switching which are motivated by active regions of subsystems, the exponential stability is studied in this paper. Distinct from most of the existing references, the existence of the solution to stochastic switched systems is not given as a priori information but can be proved under some easily verified conditions. By the aid of Dynkin’s formula, Itô’s formula and exponential martingale inequality, the criteria on moment exponential stability and almost sure exponential stability of the stochastic switched system are established based on Lyapunov-like techniques. Simulation examples are presented to illustrate the validity of the results.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This paper addresses the finite-time stability problem of linear switched singular systems with finite-time unstable subsystems. Dynamic decomposition techniques are used to transform such systems into equivalent one that is a reduced-order switched normal systems. Based on the mode-dependent average dwell time (MDADT) switching signal, new sufficient conditions are presented to guarantee the linear switched singular systems with finite-time unstable subsystems being finite-time stability, finite-time bounded and finite-time stabilization. Finally, a numerical example is employed to verify the efficiency of the preceding method.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This study examines the finite time annular domain stability (FTADS) and stabilisation of a class of Itô stochastic impulsive systems with asynchronous switching controller. The asynchronous switching means that the controller switching does not accurately coincide with system switching in delayed time interval. The design of the controller depends on the observed jumping parameters, which cannot be precisely measured in real-time because of switching delay. Our results apply to cases where some subsystems of the switched systems are not necessarily stable under the influence of input delay. When the subsystem is stable in the synchronous switching interval and unstable in the asynchronous case, a compromise among the average impulsive interval, the upper bound of delay, and the decay/increasing rate of Lyapunov function in the synchronous/asynchronous switching interval respectively is given. By the mode-dependent parameter approach (MDPA) and allowing the increase of the impulses on all the switching times, the extended FTADS criteria for Itô stochastic impulsive systems in generally nonlinear setting are derived first. Then, we focus on the case when the system in both synchronous and asynchronous switching intervals are unstable. By reaching a tradeoff among average impulsive interval, the upper bound of delay, the magnitude of impulses and the difference between the increasing rate of Lyapunov function in the synchronous and asynchronous switching interval, new sufficient conditions for existence of the state feedback controller are also developed by MDPA. In addition, we consider the effect of different impulsive strengths (harmful and beneficial impulses) and obtained less conservative results because the Lyapunov function may be non-decreasing during switching interval. Moreover, we extend the conclusion from nonlinear stochastic impulsive switching systems to linear case. Finally, we present two examples to illustrate the effectiveness of the results obtained in this study.  相似文献

The theory of H control of switched systems is extended to stochastic systems with state‐multiplicative noise. Sufficient conditions are obtained for the mean square stability of these systems where dwell time constraint is imposed on the switching. Both nominal and uncertain polytopic systems are considered. A Lyapunov function, in a quadratic form, is assigned to each subsystem that is nonincreasing at the switching instants. During the dwell time, this function varies piecewise linearly in time following the last switch, and it becomes time invariant afterwards. Asymptotic stochastic stability of the set of subsystems is thus ensured by requiring the expected value of the infinitesimal generator of this function to be negative between switchings, resulting in conditions for stability in the form of LMIs. These conditions are extended to the case where the subsystems encounter polytopic‐type parameter uncertainties. The method proposed is applied to the problem of finding an upper bound on the stochastic L2‐gain of the system. A solution to the robust state‐feedback control problem is then derived, which is based on a modification of the L2‐gain bound result. Two examples are given that demonstrate the applicability of the proposed theory. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper aims at characterizing the most destabilizing switching law for discrete-time switched systems governed by a set of bounded linear operators. The switched system is embedded in a special class of discrete-time bilinear control systems. This allows us to apply the variational approach to the bilinear control system associated with a Mayer-type optimal control problem, and a second-order necessary optimality condition is derived. Optimal equivalence between the bilinear system and the switched system is analyzed, which shows that any optimal control law can be equivalently expressed as a switching law. This specific switching law is most unstable for the switched system, and thus can be used to determine stability under arbitrary switching. Based on the second-order moment of the state, the proposed approach is applied to analyze uniform mean-square stability of discrete-time switched linear stochastic systems. Numerical simulations are presented to verify the usefulness of the theoretic results.  相似文献

Many actual engineering applications can be modelled as large-scale switched system, while switching behaviours often occur in some short finite time intervals; thus, it is significant to ensure the finite-time boundedness of large-scale switched system in practical terms. In this paper, the problems of finite-time stability analysis and stabilisation for large-scale switched system are addressed. First, considering different switching signals for subsystems, the concepts of decentralised finite-time boundedness (DFTB) and decentralised finite-time H controllers are introduced, which focus on the dynamical transient behaviour of large-scale switched system during finite intervals. Under these concepts, several sufficient conditions are given to ensure a class of large-scale systems decentralised finite-time stable based on the decentralised average dwell times, and then the results are extended to H finite-time boundedness of large-scale switched system. Finally, based on the results on DFTB, optimal decentralised H controllers and average dwell times are designed under the minimum value of H performance. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approaches in this paper.  相似文献

Exponential stability and robust exponential stability relating to switched systems consisting of stable and unstable nonlinear subsystems are considered in this study. At each switching time instant, the impulsive increments which are nonlinear functions of the states are extended from switched linear systems to switched nonlinear systems. Using the average dwell time method and piecewise Lyapunov function approach, when the total active time of unstable subsystems compared to the total active time of stable subsystems is less than a certain proportion, the exponential stability of the switched system is guaranteed. The switching law is designed which includes the average dwell time of the switched system. Switched systems with uncertainties are also studied. Sufficient conditions of the exponential stability and robust exponential stability are provided for switched nonlinear systems. Finally, simulations show the effectiveness of the result.  相似文献

Tracking control for switched linear systems with time‐delay is investigated in this paper. Based on the state‐dependent switching method, sufficient conditions for the solvability of the tracking control problem are given. We use single Lyapunov function technique and a typical hysteresis switching law to design a tracking control law such that the H model reference tracking performance is satisfied. The controller design problem can be solved efficiently by using linear matrices inequalities. Since convex combination techniques are used to derive the delay independent criteria, some subsystems are allowed to be unstable. It is highly desirable that a non‐switched time‐delay system can not earn such property. Simulation example shows the feasibility and validity of the switching control law. This paper is concerned with the problem of finite-time stability analysis for uncertain stochastic delayed reaction-diffusion genetic regulatory networks. The parameter uncertainties are assumed to be norm-bounded, and the time delays are assumed to be time-varying. Based on the Lyapunov functional method, sufficient conditions ensuring the networks to be finite-time robustly stochastically stable are established. When there are no norm-bounded parameter uncertainties in the networks, a finite-time stochastic stability condition is also established. All the conditions are diffusion-dependent as well as delay-dependent. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.  相似文献

This paper investigates the finite-time stabilisation for a class of switched nonlinear systems with state constraints. Some power orders of the system are allowed to be ratios of positive even integers over odd integers. A Barrier Lyapunov function is introduced to guarantee that the state constraint is not violated at any time. Using the convex combination method and a recursive design approach, a state-dependent switching law and state feedback controllers of individual subsystems are constructed such that the closed-loop system is finite-time stable without violation of the state constraint. Two examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献
