大规模定制生产是以大规模生产的效率和成本向客户提供个性化定制产品的一种生产模式,它以客户为中心组织生产,提供多样化产品来满足不同需求。本文在建立的多色图配置模型及配置算法的基础上,开发大规模定制生产中产品配置原型软件,实现产品结构信息管理、BOM管理、配置规则管理、配置结果管理等相关功能。同时编写配置软件与CATIA的接口程序,实现在三维环境中对配置结果电子样机的预览,最后结合产品实例进行验证配置模型和配置方法的正确性,以及使用配置结果和变型设计实现定制生产。  相似文献

Online configuration tool kits present attractive opportunities for creating customized offers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relevance of both the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and the experiential learning theory to understand how configuration contributes to provide value for end users. The qualitative survey shows that the TAM needs to be adapted to the case of configurators by measuring both perceived usefulness (PU) of the configured product and PU and ease of use of the configurator itself. The study shows the relevance of experiential learning theory as an antecedent of the TAM. A model summarizing our observations is proposed and discussed.  相似文献

The use of product configurators has produced a range of benefits for several companies, such as minimizing the use of resources and shortening the lead times in product specification processes. When developing a product configurator, two kinds of models are often created, namely analysis models and design models. Since the task of describing product knowledge in analysis models involves domain experts, the analysis language has to be easily understandable in order to avoid the need for extensive training. For this task, the so-called Product Variant Master (PVM) diagramming technique is often applied. With regard to the design model, the requirements for the language focus more on a formalized and rich language, which is why class diagrams are often applied. To avoid the use of different modelling languages in the analysis and design phase, this paper proposes the layout technique ‘Vertically Aligned Class Diagrams’ (VACDs), which incorporate the usability of PVMs into class diagrams. To validate the usefulness of the VACD technique, the paper compares VACDs to PVMs and class diagrams in a utility analysis and a usability experiment. These investigations strongly indicate that VACDs maintain to a great extent the combined advantages of PVMs and normally drawn class diagrams. Thus, the use of VACDs in configurator projects has the potential to increase efficiency, improve communication and reduce errors.  相似文献

Anecdotal evidence suggests that product configurators may be crucial in improving time performance when offering customized products so as to overcome what has been termed the customization-responsiveness squeeze. Large-scale hypothesis-testing studies that either corroborate this finding or discover unpredicted boundaries of validity are still lacking, however. Our paper contributes to fill this gap by testing the positive impact of product configurator use on time performance on a sample of 238 manufacturing plants from three industries and eight countries. The results support the hypothesized impact after the effects of widely acknowledged antecedents of accelerated time performance have been removed. Implications of our findings for both research and practice are finally discussed.  相似文献

Configuration problems are a thriving application area for declarative knowledge representation that currently experiences a constant increase in size and complexity of knowledge bases. Automated support of the debugging process of such knowledge bases is a necessary prerequisite for effective development of configurators. We show that this task can be achieved by consistency-based diagnosis techniques. Based on the formal definition of consistency-based configuration we develop a framework suitable for diagnosing configuration knowledge bases. During the test phase of configurators, valid and invalid examples are used to test the correctness of the system. In case such examples lead to unintended results, debugging of the knowledge base is initiated. Starting from a clear definition of diagnosis in the configuration domain we develop an algorithm based on conflicts. Our framework is general enough for its adaptation to diagnosing customer requirements to identify unachievable conditions during configuration sessions.A prototype implementation using commercial constraint-based configurator libraries shows the feasibility of diagnosis within the tight time bounds of interactive debugging sessions. Finally, we discuss the usefulness of the outcomes of the diagnostic process in different scenarios.  相似文献

Product personality and product usability are two important factors which can influence consumers' product choice. Published literature are available regarding independent impact of product personality and product usability on product choice but no research has been reported so far for understanding their collective influence on product choice. In addition, which factor between usability and product personality contributing more in product choice is still not clear. Current research thus aimed to bridge these research gaps by establishing inter-relationships among product personality, usability and product choice. To achieve this goal, two separate experiments were conducted. Results of first experiment revealed that products having high product usability also possessed strong product personality. Following second experiment, it was observed that solitary influence of product usability on product choice was more than the standalone influence of product personality in human-product physical interaction. Moreover, it unfolded the fact that product usability mediates the influence of product personality towards product choice. Established interrelationships among product personality, usability and product choice, would help designer and ergonomists to decide how product attributes could be manipulated to enhance product personality and/or product usability to ensure product choice.  相似文献

This article examines whether (if so, how) ordered (versus random) product review display would be more helpful and easier to comprehend. The results from a set of experiments show that product reviews ordered by their types (i.e., presenting an attribute/experience-based review before another type) are perceived to be more helpful and easier to comprehend. We further observed that displays of attribute-based product reviews followed by experience-based product reviews are perceived to be more helpful for a search product. Likewise, displays of experience-based product reviews followed by attribute-based product reviews are more helpful for an experience product.  相似文献
