This paper is concerned with delay-dependent passivity analysis for delayed neural networks (DNNs) of neutral type. We first
discuss the passivity conditions for DNNs without uncertainties and then extend this result to the case of interval uncertainties.
By partitioning the delay intervals into multiple equidistant subintervals, some appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals
(LKFs) are constructed on these intervals. Considering these new LKFs and using free-weighting matrix approach, several new
passivity criteria are proposed in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which are dependent on the size of the time delay.
Finally, five numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness and less conservatism of the developed techniques. 相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of delay-dependent stability for neural networks with interval time-varying delays. First, we divided delay interval into two parts. Second, a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is constructed, and relationships between the augmented state vectors have been fully considered, which may yield less conservative results. Third, based on free-matrix-based integral inequality method and reciprocally convex technique, some new less conservative delay-dependent stability criteria have been obtained by combining with the new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. This paper deals with the problem of delay-dependent robust stability for a class of switched Hopfield neural networks with time-varying structured uncertainties and time-varying delay.Some Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals are constructed and the linear matrix inequality(LMI)approach and free weighting matrix method are employed to devise some delay-dependent stability criteria which guarantee the existence,uniqueness and global exponential stability of the equilibrium point for all admissible parametric uncertainties.By using Leihniz-Newton formula,free weighting matrices are employed to express this relationship,which implies that the new criteria are less conservative than existing ones.Some examples suggest that the proposed criteria are effective and are an improvement over previous ones. 相似文献

This paper discusses the neutral system with time-varying delay. Firstly, by developing a delayed decomposition approach and introducing integral inequality approach, the information of the delayed plant states can be taken into full consideration, and new delay-dependent sufficient stability criteria are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Then, based on the Lyapunov method, delay-dependent stability criteria are devised by taking the relationship between the terms in the Leibniz–Newton formula into account. The criteria are derived in terms of LMIs, which can be easily solved by using various convex optimization algorithms. Three illustrative numerical examples are given to show the less conservatism of our obtained results and the effectiveness of the proposed method. 相似文献

This paper focuses on the stability analysis for neutral systems with discrete and distributed constant time-delays. Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKFs) are constructed by non uniformly dividing the whole delay interval into multiple segments and choosing proper functionals with different weighting matrices coressponding to different segments in the LKFs. By employing these LKFs, some new delay-derivative-dependent stability criteria are established for the neutral system in the delay partition approach. By utilizing the delay partition approach, the obtained stability criteria are stated in terms of linear matrix inequalities. In this paper, the problem of delay-dependent robust stability for singular time-delay systems is investigated. The parametric uncertainties are assumed to be norm bounded. Based on the idea of delay partitioning, A new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional is proposed to develop new delay-dependent criteria, that ensures the considered system to be regular, impulse free and stable in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Furthermore, the Wirtinger-based integral inequality approach has been employed to derive less conservative results. This paper investigates the problem of robust exponential stability for neutral systems with time-varying delays and nonlinear perturbations. Based on a novel Lyapunov functional approach and linear matrix inequality technique, a new delay-dependent stability condition is derived. Since the model transformation and bounding techniques for cross terms are avoided, the criteria proposed in this paper are less conservative than some previous approaches by using the free-weighting matrices. The problem of delay-dependent stability in the mean square sense for stochastic systems with time-varying delays, Markovian switching and nonlinearities is investigated. Both the slowly time-varying delays and fast time-varying delays are considered. Based on a linear matrix inequality approach, delay-dependent stability criteria are derived by introducing some relaxation matrices which can be chosen properly to lead to a less conservative result. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the method and significant improvement of the estimate of stability limit over some existing results in the literature. 相似文献

In this paper, the problem of stability analysis for uncertain genetic regulatory networks with time-varying delays is investigated. The time-varying delay function in this paper is not required to be either continuously differentiable, or its derivative less than one. By choosing an appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and employing some free-weighting matrices, some new delay-dependent and delay-derivative-dependent stability criteria are presented in terms of linear matrix inequality. And the new criteria are applicable to both fast and slow time-varying delays. This paper is concerned with the problems of stability and H∞ control of linear neutral systems. Firstly, some new simple Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals are constructed by uniformly dividing the discrete delay interval into multiple segments, and choosing proper functionals with different weighted matrices corresponding to different segments in the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals. Then using these new simple Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, some new delay-dependent stability criteria are derived. These criteria include some existing results as their special cases and are much less conservative than some existing results, which is shown through a numerical example. Secondly, a delay-dependent bounded real lemma (BRL) is established. Employing the obtained BRL, some delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the existence of a delayed state feedback controller, which ensure asymptotic stability and a prescribed H∞ performance level of the corresponding closed-loop system, is formulated in terms of a linear matrix inequality (LMI).
