This paper is concerned with the problems of stability and H∞ control of linear neutral systems. Firstly, some new simple Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals are constructed by uniformly dividing the discrete delay interval into multiple segments, and choosing proper functionals with different weighted matrices corresponding to different segments in the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals. Then using these new simple Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, some new delay-dependent stability criteria are derived. These criteria include some existing results as their special cases and are much less conservative than some existing results, which is shown through a numerical example. Secondly, a delay-dependent bounded real lemma (BRL) is established. Employing the obtained BRL, some delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the existence of a delayed state feedback controller, which ensure asymptotic stability and a prescribed H∞ performance level of the corresponding closed-loop system, is formulated in terms of a linear matrix inequality (LMI). A numerical example is also given to illustrate the effectiveness of the design method. 相似文献

This paper concerns reducing the conservatism of delay-dependent bounded real lemma (BRL) of time-delay systems with uncertainty described by a linear fractional form. By introducing an augmented Lyapunov functional, an improved BRL is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Theoretical comparisons show that the obtained BRL is less conservative than some previous ones and the recent results in [S.Y. Xu, L. James, Y. Zou, New results on delay-dependent robust H∞ control for systems with time-varying delays, Automatica 42 (2006) 343-348; T. Li, L. Guo, C. Lin, Y.M. Zhang, Delay-range-dependent bounded real lemma for time-delay systems, Asian Journal of Control 10 (2008) 708-717] are actually equivalent to the special cases of the obtained BRL. This paper deals with the problem of delay-dependent robust H∞ control for linear time-delay systems with norm-bounded, and possibly time-varying, uncertainty. The time-delay is assumed to be a time-varying continuous function belonging to a given interval, which means that the lower and upper bounds for the time-varying delay are available, and no restriction on the derivative of the time-varying delay is needed, which allows the time-delay to be a fast time-varying function. Based on an integral inequality, which is introduced in this paper, and Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional approach, a delay-dependent bounded real lemma (BRL) is first established without using model transformation and bounding techniques on the related cross product terms. Then employing the obtained BRL, a delay-dependent condition for the existence of a state feedback controller, which ensures asymptotic stability and a prescribed H∞ performance level of the closed-loop systems for all admissible uncertainties, is proposed in terms of a linear matrix inequality (LMI). This article investigates the problems of H ∞ analysis for Markovian jump stochastic systems with both nonlinear disturbance and time-varying delays. By virtue of the delay partition approach, the improved delay-dependent stochastic stability and bounded real lemma (BRL) for Markovian jump stochastic systems are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The proposed approach involves neither free weighting matrices nor any model transformation, and it is shown that the new criteria have the capability of providing less conservative results than the state-of-the-art. 本文提出一种新的时滞划分方法—变时滞划分法,以解决连续延时Takagi-Sugeno模糊系统的稳定性和镇定性问题.不同于已有的文献,用可变参数将时变时滞区间[0,d(t)]划分为若干个可变子区间,并得出模糊时滞系统的新的时滞相关稳定性准则.本文提出的新方法能充分利用时滞子区间的内部信息,因此新的时滞相关稳定性准则比以往结果具有更小的保守性.基于Lyapunov稳定性理论,以线性矩阵不等式形式给出T--S模糊系统的新的时滞相关稳定性准则,并将稳定性和镇定性研究结果扩展到具有不确定参数的T--S模糊系统.仿真实例证明了本文方法降低保守性的有效性. 相似文献

This note presents the solvability conditions of the dynamic output feedback Hinfin control problem for linear neutral systems with time- varying state delays in the delay-dependent case, where the delay is assumed to be time-varying continuous or differentiable uniformly bounded function, but no restriction on the derivative of the delay is needed, which means that the delay may be the fast time-varying function. An improved delay-dependent bounded real lemma (BRL) for a closed-loop system is established. Based on the obtained BRL, the dynamic output feedback Hinfin controller is designed in terms of the linear matrix inequalities with inverse constraints. An iterative algorithm involving convex optimization methods is used to satisfy these constraints. The proposed results are illustrated in the examples. 相似文献

The problem of delay-dependent stability in the mean square sense for stochastic systems with time-varying delays, Markovian switching and nonlinearities is investigated. Both the slowly time-varying delays and fast time-varying delays are considered. Based on a linear matrix inequality approach, delay-dependent stability criteria are derived by introducing some relaxation matrices which can be chosen properly to lead to a less conservative result. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the method and significant improvement of the estimate of stability limit over some existing results in the literature. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with delay-dependent stability analysis and stabilization problems for continuous-time Takagi and Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with a time-varying delay. A new method for the delay-dependent stability analysis and stabilization is suggested, which is less conservative than other existing ones. First, based on a fuzzy Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF), a delay-dependent stability criterion is derived for the open-loop fuzzy systems. In the derivation process, some free fuzzy weighting matrices are introduced to express the relationships among the terms of the system equation, and among the terms in the Leibniz-Newton formula. Then, a delay-dependent stabilization condition based on the so-called parallel distributed compensation (PDC) scheme is worked out for the closed-loop fuzzy systems. The proposed stability criterion and stabilization condition are represented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and compared with the existing ones via two examples. This paper is concerned with the robust delay-dependent exponential stability of uncertain stochastic neural networks (SNNs) with mixed delays. Based on a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method, some new delay-dependent stability conditions are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which guarantee the uncertain stochastic neural networks with mixed delays to be robustly exponentially stable. Recently, several scholars discussed the question of under what conditions numerical solutions can reproduce exponential stability of exact solutions to stochastic delay differential equations, and some delay-independent stability criteria were obtained. This paper is concerned with delay-dependent stability of numerical solutions. Under a delay-dependent condition for the stability of the exact solution, it is proved that the backward Euler method is mean-square exponentially stable for all positive stepsizes.
