实时CORBA系统中ORB间通信机制研究

实时CORBA系统是一类重要的分布式中间件,它不仅具有实时系统的特征,而且具有网络通信的特征,其ORB间实时通信的实现是系统满足实时性的一个关键。本文着重在实时CORBA规范1．1的基础上探讨ORB之间通信的机制,同时简要介绍了TAO系统对实时CORBA规范所作出的改进,最后简要阐述了自己对开发实时CORBA应用系统的观点。     

复杂分布计算系统资源管理问题的研究

在网络异构计算环境下基于QoS资源管理的问题，是多年来该领域的研究热点。基于中间件技术，提出了利用遵循实时CORBA标准的、跨平台高性能实时ORB端系统，并能够为应用程序提供确定的或统计尽可能好的QoS需求的CORBA中间件——TAO，来实现QoS资源管理的方法途径，并对其的实现提出了总体设计思想。     

CORBA性能分析及优化

指出了现存CORBA在性能敏感型应用中的缺陷和造成CORBA性能低下的原因。从CORBA产品和CORBA应用开发者的角度，提出了一些提高CORBA性能的方法，最后，简单介绍了一种高性能实时ORB产品－TAO。

该文介绍了在全球商业竞争日趋激烈的情况下,对软件开发降低成本、保证质量的需求促进了CORBA的发展,而随着其应用逐渐扩展到实时领域,常规的ORB不再能够满足应用系统对QoS的要求,由此促进了实时CORBA从规范到模式、框架的发展。同时还归纳总结了实时ORB系统实现框架,为实际开发提供了重要参考。     

基于CORBA的B／S模式的实时信息分布技术

本文提出了一种基于CORBA的B／S模式下的实时信息发布技术及实时信息发布系统的体系结构。该技术以CORBA提供的事件,ORB以及IIOP等来实现实时信息的网上传送，以CORBA提供的跨平台对象互操作能力和Browser的对象嵌入技术实现实时信息的一致性的表达，并描述了这个融合CORBA和Browser/Server模式优点的应用系统的体系结构。     

基于实时Java的实时CORBA研究

以OMG实时CORBA规范2.0中的可分布线程为基础，分析已有实时CORBA动态调度模型，从凋度系统全局优化性着眼，提出了基于可分布线程的实时CORBA动态调度模型的设计方案。

近年来实时CORBA的在金融、电信、保险、医疗、制造业等行业发挥着越来越重要的作用,开发基于实时CORBA的应用程序,提高系统端对端的预测能力,使系统具有可靠健壮的性能.首先论述了实时CORBA体系结构与线程控制机制,对实时CORBA的ORB、POA与线程控制机制关系、实时CORBA线程的实现方式、线程的管理策略作了分析讨论,在这基础上讨论了建立实时系统的应用实例,将CORBA优先映射为本地优先,提供了灵活的线程管理机制,有效防止了线程的优先级翻转.     

Real-time CORBA

This paper presents a survey of results in developing Real-Time CORBA, a standard for real-time management of distributed objects. This paper includes background on two areas that have been combined to realize Real-Time CORBA: the CORBA standards that have been produced by the international Object Management Group; and techniques for distributed real-time computing that have been produced in the research community. The survey describes major RT CORBA research efforts, commercial development efforts, and standardization efforts by the Object Management Group.     

KIOIK:一个基于操作系统内核的CORBA实现及其性能分析

CORBA是分布式计算领域的研究热点,性能对于诸如实时、嵌入式CORBA应用至关重要,在高速网络环境下或backbone系统中,端系统的性能是整个系统性能不可忽视的因素,在传统的实时、嵌入CORBA应用中,影响端系统性能的几个主要因素包括操作系统的上下文切换、进程调度以及用户空间与操作系统间的数据复制,文章认为,CORBA的内核级实现可以消除或减小以上开销,KIOIK是基于Linux内核的CORBA实现,阐述了在Linux内核级实现CORBA的若干关键技术,为CORBA端系统的性能优化提出了一个新的思路,最后给出了KIOIK与用户空间CORBA以及核内SunRPC的延迟对比测试结果,并做了相应的性能分析。     

实时CORBA规范分析与评述

实时系统是一类应用极为广泛的系统,而通用CORBA规范对实时应用支持不足,所以OMG制订了实时COR-BA1.0规范.。该规范支持固定优先级的实时CORBA应用,提供了实时CORBA应用中对象调用操作端到端的可预测性。文章对实时CORBA规范中所定义的控制和管理系统资源的策略和机制进行了较为详尽的阐述,并对其进行了分析与评述。     

实时高性能CORBA的体系框架研究

CommonObjectRequestBrokerArchitecture（CORBA）标准是分布对象管理系统的一个重要标准,但现有的CORBA标准不支持实时应用系统开发,实时应用对CORBA的发展提出了新的需求。文章立足于现有的CORBA标准做了进一步分析,讨论了传统的CORBA标准对实时应用支持的不足之处,并提出实时务性能CORBA应该具有的特征及其对传统CORBA标准的改进之处。     

Load Balancing in CORBA: A Survey of Concepts,Patterns, and Techniques

CORBA is an industrial standard for distributed object-oriented applications covering aspects such as heterogeneity and interoperability of products of different vendors. However, the CORBA standard does not define any methods for load balancing and there is a considerable confusion of terms describing associated load balancing techniques. Starting from the general platform- and language-independent CORBA object model, this paper presents a new hierarchical classification of possible load distribution methods for CORBA applications. The classification is a valuable starting point to identify the load balancing method that is appropriate for a given application. Furthermore, we show the relations to modern software design patterns and indicate the places in a CORBA application where load balancing components such as monitoring (obtaining load information), strategy (performing load distribution decisions), and control (executing the strategy decisions) may be integrated. Besides the discussion of the general object model as defined in the CORBA standard, we deal with concrete CORBA-compliant Object Request Brokers such as Orbix and VisiBroker. The presented techniques and examples are useful to systematically evaluate whether a given CORBA ORB can be used to implement a load balancing method as required by the application.     

COM和CORBA桥接的实现

介绍了COM和CORBA这两种分布式应用平台的不同特点,从理论上阐述了这两种用平台互操作的可行性。当建立一个分布式对象解决方案时,COM和CORBA都有其各自的优点,COM是组件体系的主流,CORBA是远程体系结构主流。只有清楚认识到每种技术的优点才能在任何情况下做出合适的选择。为了使COM和CORBA的优势都得到发挥,可以让COM和CORBA对象实现互操作,即实现COM和CORBA的桥接。最后给出一个在Delphi下实现的一个COM和CORBA桥接的简单例子,说明如何在Delphi中实现COM和CORBA的桥接。     

Integration of CORBA and object relational databases

CORBA is widely accepted as the open international standard for modelling and building comprehensive distributed systems. In most cases, CORBA architects have adopted relational databases for storage of persistent data. Among the issues that usually face architecture designers considering how to combine CORBA and standard relational database standards are fault tolerance, performance, and the extensibility and scalability of the systems. The research team involved with this paper found that the ODMG object database concept is useful to solve the issues encountered when integrating CORBA and relational database standards. The reference architecture, which the team devises, integrates CORBA and relational databases without compromise on the necessary transactional properties. The CORBA standard object transaction service and concurrency control service are reused. The team also develop an object relational data modelling tool—Latte—that supports the overall design intention as well the development paradigms for the proposed architecture. The implementation of the system is useful to CORBA, ODMG, and relational database architects because it provides a unified modelling and programming paradigm capable of solving the problems of managing mission-critical distributed data. Thus, we present a case study of combining different international standards to build a comprehensive system.     

基于CORBA综合网络配置管理的设计与实现

CORBA是OMG制定出的一套分布式对象技术标准,其优势在于可以成为分布式异构环境下应用软件开发的统一标准,综合网络管理系统就是一个典型的分布式异构系统。因此,CORBA技术是目前构建综合网管系统一种理想的解决方案。分析了传统网络管理技术的弊端以及CORBA技术应用在网络管理系统的优点,采用基于CORBA的中让件技术、综合网管系统中配置管理接口技术．提出了一种基于CORBA的综合网络配置管理的解决方案．从而利用CORBA的平台无关性,让NMC可以实现统一网络管理任意厂商设备的配置信息,使任意厂商设备能够无缝对接。     

基于CORBA构件模型的编译器的研究与实现

分析了IDL3与CIDL语言对CORBA构件模型的定义,设计了CORBA构件模型的编译器及其接口池,编译器前端采用LEX与YACC工具对源文件进行词法与语法分析来实现,后端采用对接口池"前序遍历"的方法最终实现编译器,为CORBA构件平台的构件实现提供了生成工具。
