针对下位机是单片机系统,上位机是PC机,下位机与上位机以异步串行通信方式交换信息,PC机界面为汉字界面的集散控制系统,讨论在单片机系统上建立汉字词汇库,形成状态点释义汉字串,组织汉字区位码串串行通信格式的方法。词汇库是由编号词组子库组成,汉字用区位码存储,状态点释义汉字串由词组编号链接而成,为释义汉字串设置专门的串行通信格式。该方法的显著特点是状态点及其释义字串的变化基本不会引起上位机的程序变化。实验结果表明,该方法有益于提高系统的通用性、二次开发性以及容错能力,拓展汉字应用范围,增强单片机系统功能。 相似文献

One of the uses of CRT's in modern phototypesetting is for the generation of luminous images of characters and other typographic symbols. These images are optically projected onto a web of photosensitized film or paper a length of which, after exposure, development and drying constitutes the printer's master for plate-making. Times New Roman and Arial typefaces in 10- and 12-point, dot-matrix and anti-aliased format conditions were compared for readability (accuracy, reading speed, and accuracy/reading speed), as well as perceptions of typeface legibility, sharpness, ease of reading, and general preference. In assessing readability, the 10-point anti-aliased Arial typeface was read slower than the other type conditions. Examining perceptions of typeface legibility, sharpness, and ease of reading detected significant effects for typeface, size, and format. Overall, the 12-point dot-matrix Arial typeface was preferred to the other typefaces. Recommendations for appropriate typeface combinations for computer-displayed text are discussed. 相似文献

A substitution cipher consists of a block of natural language text where each letter of the alphabet has been replaced by a distinct symbol. As a problem in cryptography, the substitution cipher is of limited interest, but it has an important application in optical character recognition. Recent advances render it quite feasible to scan documents with a fairly complex layout and to classify (cluster) the printed characters into distinct groups according to their shape. However, given the immense variety of type styles and forms in current use, it is not possible to assign alphabetical identities to characters of arbitrary size and typeface. This gap can be bridged by solving the equivalent of a substitution cipher problem, thereby opening up the possibility of automatic translation of a scanned document into a standard character code, such as ASCII. Earlier methods relying on letter n-gram frequencies require a substantial amount of ciphertext for accurate n-gram estimates. A dictionary-based approach solves the problem using relatively small ciphertext samples and a dictionary of fewer than 500 words. Our heuristic backtrack algorithm typically visits only a few hundred among the 26! possible nodes on sample texts ranging from 100 to 600 words. 相似文献

Maintaining consistent styles across glyphs is an arduous task in typeface design. In this work we introduce FlexyFont, a flexible tool for synthesizing a complete typeface that has a consistent style with a given small set of glyphs. Motivated by a key fact that typeface designers often maintain a library of glyph parts to achieve a consistent typeface, we intend to learn part consistency between glyphs of different characters across typefaces. We take a part assembling approach by firstly decomposing the given glyphs into semantic parts and then assembling them according to learned sets of transferring rules to reconstruct the missing glyphs. To maintain style consistency, we represent the style of a font as a vector of pairwise part similarities. By learning a distribution over these feature vectors, we are able to predict the style of a novel typeface given only a few examples. We utilize a popular machine learning method as well as retrieval‐based methods to quantitatively assess the performance of our feature vector, resulting in favorable results. We also present an intuitive interface that allows users to interactively create novel typefaces with ease. The synthesized fonts can be directly used in real‐world design. 相似文献
