传统的缓冲包装设计,考虑流通环境,根据实验或经验得出的产品脆值,确定缓冲衬垫的种类及结构尺寸,然后进行校核。通常要反复实验与比较,才能筛选出合理的设计结果。其设计在很大程度上依赖于设计人员的自身经验、破坏性试验所得的数据,这就造成产品和缓冲材料的浪费,并且设计过程需时较长,在一定程度上制约了缓冲包装设计的发展。利用基于VC平台开发的缓冲衬垫CAD系统进行缓冲包装设计,能使设计人员从繁杂的手工设计中解放出来,显著地缩短了产品的研发周期,避免了对产品的破坏性试验。对于产品的包装,特别是对于精密电子产品的包装,其经济效益是相当可观的。开发缓冲衬垫CAD系统进行计算机辅助设计,是缓冲包装发展的必然趋势。 相似文献

This paper presents an approach to the development of an open collaborative design environment in the Computer Aided Design (CAD) setting of a networked enterprise. Demand for high quality and variety of low to medium quality of products or 'mass customization' has led to the concept of'virtual organizations'. The de-centralized design teams of such an organization require a framework to manage the CAD product information. By integrating the emerging standard for 3D geometry on the World Wide Web with conventional CAD packages, we describe a framework for the development of a product model with various levels of abstractions. The syntactic content of the product model, accessible through any Internet interface such as Netscape Navigator associates itself with a centralized database for embedding technological information at the face and feature levels. The semanlic and syntactic content of the product model can then be accessed and manipulated through the single Internet interface. The system is deployed on a test-bed utilizing both a UNIX box and a machine operating under the Windows NT system, to demonstrate it's open architecture and interoperability. 相似文献

This paper focuses on developing a framework for a computer-aided part design system that considers design efficiency and facilitates product information sharing across the automotive supply chain. The system applies the concept of feature-based design to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of auto-part design and implements the standard exchange of product (ISO10303/STEP) data model to enable the data sharing between original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), suppliers and customers. This research demonstrates the technology of standard data modelling for a feature-based CAD system to achieve cross-platform CAD/CAM integration. This paper describes the development of a web-based interference examination system in mould design processes. Although several commercial computer-aided design (CAD) systems offer interference inspection functions, those systems are very expensive and inadequate to perform collaborative works over the Internet. In this paper an efficient and precise hybrid interference examination algorithm applicable to multilevel assemblies is studied for injection mould design processes. In order to design a collaborative system over the distributed environment, lightweight CAD files produced from the optimally transformed CAD data through ACIS kernel and InterOp are applied to develop a web-based interference verification system. Collaborators related to the development of a new product can verify the interference over the Internet without commercial CAD systems. The system reduces production cost, errors and lead-time to the market. The validity of the developed system is confirmed through case studies. 相似文献

The present CAD/CAM systems still lack the appropriate CAE component that would allow more efficient assembly planning in the effort to integrate the product design, assembly system design, assembly device programming and assembly execution. The problem is related to both the complexity and incompleteness of the planning methodology, and the lack of the algorithmized planning elements. The previous explorations often concentrated on particular planning elements such as assembly sequence, neglecting the urge of integral and a more general approach. Furthermore, they sometimes pose tedious requirements on the user, causing him/her to focus more on the planning method than on the planning goal. The paper presents a CAD-based prototyping system for the generation of plans for automated assembly. It uses many relevant well-established concepts in the assembly planning field and proposes a few new ones (especially regarding assembly process space structuring), trying to achieve the highest possible level of automation, and to highlight the problems of computer implementation of the planning knowledge. A mechanical product to be assembled is, at first, a CAD modelled assembled product. After that, the planning elements such as assembly sequence, assembly paths and parts positions of disassembled product are defined, providing the basis for assembly device design and assembly execution. 相似文献
